Chapter One Hundred and Fifteen

Three days after

"It's time to pour the sand into the grave by his loved ones. Mrs. Stone, please step forward."

"No, no, I do not want to. How can fate be so cruel?" she shouted in anguish. Queen Elizabeth pulled her closer and started leading her to the grave while whispering soothing words to her.

The dam in my own eyes broke; I could not believe that Zacky was dead, and he died to save me. Watching his mate cry broke my heart, and as I cried too, I was feeling very faint, if it wasn't for Reagan holding me, I was not sure that I would still be standing.

I wish I could turn back the hand of time; I wish I could not rush into that kitchen to eat; I wish I stayed awake to talk him out of coming to save me. Now his child would be fatherless because of me.

"His family members should step forward too."

Reagan carried me to the grave and helped me pour sand inside, then led me back.
