Someone was shaking my shoulder and I opened my eyes to see Kael looking down at me.

"It is time," he said quietly.

The room was still dark and I could barely see anything.

"What time is it?" I asked and sat up.

"Two hours before dawn," Kael said. "We need to leave soon."

My stomach twisted with fear but I pushed it down and got out of bed.
