Molly:

It was Monday morning, and the day for the interview in the writing firm. It was for the role of an editor. I used to work part time as an editor online for novel platforms.

I was standing in front of the mirror, picking out the dress that would fit the occasion.

"Molly!" I heard Kate scream my name from across the hallway.

As soon as she pulled the door to my room open, I threw the dresses into the wardrobe which was nearby.

"Hey," I said to her with a smile, hoping she wouldn't suspect a thing.

She gave me a look with one eyebrow raised, and I smiled at her.

"I made breakfast, and…"

"I would like to go for a walk," I said immediately. "Alone!" I added when I noticed she was about to say something.

"Uh… okay, I'll save your food for later," she said.

"Thank you," I replied with a smile on my face.

Then she turned to leave, and I heaved a sigh of relief. Deep down, I knew that she must have noticed how weird I was acting. She probably didn't want to say anything yet.
