They say love is blind. But in a world like his, blindness is a luxury. Aurelio De Luca. A devil. He doesn't believe in love — to him, it is a beautiful lie. He alone is the truth — and the truth is brutal. Cold. Calculated. To him, emotion is nothing more than a weakness. Until her. Snow. The moment he laid his eyes on her, something stirred within him — something dark, wild, and utterly uncontrollable. She doesn't make him soft — she makes him want. She's everything he isn't. Everything he doesn't want. Pure. Innocent. Her beauty haunts him. Her smile torments him. Her beauty? A curse. Her softness? A poison. She makes his body burn with a desire he cannot extinguish. She's everything his world has poisoned. He's never been this out of control. Aurelio is bound by a contract — a cold, unyielding rule that forbids him to fall in love. She doesn't understand the rules. She doesn't understand that to fall for him is to play with death. But she wants him — her desire becoming a threat to him and the entire Italian mafia. But Snow, like fire burns with an untamed desire — a desire he can't contain. He doesn't fall in love... But he's about to fall into an obsession. No, not fall. He's walking into an obsession.

****BLOOD MOON CARTEL****
The engine of a sleek black Lincoln car roared in, and everybody held their breath as the atmosphere thickened with discernible tension. Some even started trembling on the spot and tried to hide it. Even experienced workers still trembled at his sight. Why wouldn't they be scared? A heartless devil had just arrived.
The car door creaked open, and a figure stepped out. The aura he carried spoke of noticeable danger. Dressed in all black, his almost perfectly chiseled features sent fear into those who dared to look. His deep, cold, piercing brown eyes, prominent cheekbones, sharp nose, and well-curved jawline gave him the visage of a demigod who doesn't smile. His V-shaped masculinity was perfect for a devil. Aurelio.
Even though he's a devil, that didn't stop some people from having a crush on him.
“You shouldn't make it so obvious that you are crushing on Don; you know he wouldn't hesitate to kill you," Gretna whispered to Viola.
“You know his sight alone makes me wet," Viola whispered back.
Viola and Gretna, best friends, with Viola having a hard crush on Aurelio, were quite skilled, but when it came to combat, Viola ruled.
Another door to the car opened, and several guards emerged, dragging a girl roughly in their hard grip. She stumbled and fell hard on the ground, the gravel cutting into her palms, sending a deep stinging pain.
“Why have you brought me here? Let go of me; I want to go back home," the girl cried, everybody's eyes widened in awe as they stared at her, the air thick with unspoken questions.
“Where did the boss get her from?"
“Is she a nun?"
“She looks so cute."
Many people started murmuring as they stared at her. She wouldn't stop crying. She was wearing a really long, flared skirt that reached her ankle, a big baggy shirt, her hair was packed in a ponytail. She wore big round glasses, had tiny lips, and had no makeup on, not even lip gloss. The only thing she had on her face was her tiny earrings. Her tiny stature made her look so fragile; no doubt she was insanely cute. Snow.
“Who is she?” Melissa mumbled.
“How would I know? Not as if I'm the one who brought her here," Sin replied.
“I wasn't talking to you, d!ck head," Melissa snapped, rolling her eyes.
Melissa, you can call her a badass b!tch, a crazy psycho, your choice. She's very good at archery and has some pretty interesting skills. She and Sin are always on each other's neck.
Sinclair, but he prefers to be called Sin. Free-spirited, a playboy who chases anything under a skirt. However, don't take advantage of his kindness; he's second in command after Aurelio, closest to Aurelio himself, let's say a cheerful devil.
Their murmuring died when Aurelio's cold steps started advancing towards them.
“Where is he?" Aurelio asked in his cold voice, which sent shivers down their spines.
“In the torture room," Sin replied. Aurelio started heading while the mobsters followed with pity in their eyes, probably for Snow or the person who was kept in the torture room, because they knew once you were taken to the torture room, it always ended in death.
The guards kept dragging Snow, who was still crying, until they reached the room. There, a man in his late 30s was looking all weak and tired; he was already at the point of death from the torture he had received. He saw Aurelio walking towards him and he knew there was no way out. Each step Aurelio took made him shrink in fear; then and there, he knew he shouldn't have messed with the devil.
“You really think you could steal from a devil and hide forever?" Aurelio asked in a menacing tone.
Some people looked at the man with pitiful eyes, while Viola wouldn't stop admiring Aurelio.
“I... I'm s... sorry, p... please," he coughed.
Aurelio's eyes darkened immediately. The mobsters knew it was his doom; Aurelio hated that word “please” with everything in him, and he had just used it.
Melissa, knowing what was going to happen next, turned her face away. Without warning, Aurelio picked up a sword and slashed off the man's head; his blood splashed onto Aurelio.
“Ahhhh!!!!" Snow screamed loudly, her eyes widening in horror as all attention turned to her. In no time, she passed out.
The guards looked at Aurelio, wondering what to do next with her.
“Lock her up," Aurelio said and left the room; the guards also left with Snow.
“I wonder if she's going to last even a day here," Rhodes said.
“She looks too fragile," Gael added.
“Who's in for a pu$$y to fùck?” Storm asked; Gael smacked his head.
“Is there anything else you know other than fùcking?"
“Come on, pu$$y is life," Storm grinned like a fool.
Rhodes, Gael, and Storm. The three of them were close, with Storm also being a lover of women, just like Sin, but knows how to handle a gun very well. Rhodes and Gael had the same skills.
“Where is the silent one?” Viola asked, the sarcasm being very evident in her voice. She's also very annoying.
Mykel didn't even bother to look at her; he just left. He's called the silent one because he's antisocial, only talks when necessary; however, don't underestimate him. He was a pro when it came to hacking.
“Enough of the chitchat, time to train," Sin said, and they started leaving one by one.
****AURELIO'S VILLA****
He was sitting near the window, puffing out smoke from his cigarette, which was going in zigzag. No doubt he was a dangerous smoker; he could finish two packs of cigarettes in under thirty minutes, and he looked so hot.
The door opened, and Sin walked in. “How many times have I told you not to barge into my room?” Aurelio asked, puffing out smoke. Only Sin does that.
“Come on," Sin ignored Aurelio's question, “Why did you bring her here? Thought you were going to force her mom to reveal her husband's whereabouts?".
Aurelio didn't reply.
“Did you, by chance, fall in...” His words were cut short by a bullet that flew right past his ear, hitting the wall.
“Don," Sin exclaimed, shocked at how fast he was able to grab a gun and shoot him without him being aware of it. He knew Aurelio purposely missed his target because they were close.
“Don't come here to spill shits next time," Aurelio warned dangerously. Sin smirked and left the room.
Aurelio went into memory lane as he pondered on Sin's question; yes, he went there to find out about her father, but when she walked in,
----
“I don't know my husband's whereabouts,” Snow's mother trembled in fear as she spoke. “He only came home one day and said they wanted to kill him; they were after his life. Since then, I haven't laid eyes on him." A gun was placed right on her forehead.
“Listen, woman...” The opening of the door cut his words short as Snow walked in. Their eyes locked for a while as they stared at each other before Snow became oblivious to what was happening.
“Mum, why are you held at gunpoint? What has my mummy done?" She questioned, tears brimming at the corners of her eyes.
“Get her," Aurelio ordered.
****
He was yet to figure out why he had brought her here and why he was still keeping her alive. The real Aurelio would have shot her straight in the head when she locked eyes with him. No one had ever tried that, but one thing he was sure of was that she stirred up something in him.
He picked up the fifth stick of cigarette when his eyes caught something suspicious.
A spy.

CHAPTER 83Lord Venom tried to shift his weight, but before he could react, the blade flashed, slicing off both his legs. His ear-splitting scream tore through the silent night as his body went in half. His blood pooled beneath him."Those are for my father," Aurelio said and slashed his one hand."That is for my mother." Selene seethed and tried to punch her.Snow caught her hand midair and sent a kick to her stomach. She went down on her knees, wrapping her hand around her stomach. Before Lord Venom could react, Aurelio kneed him from behind...he dropped to his knees as his gun slipped down his finge
CHAPTER 81**AURELIO'S HOUSE**"Boss, we have no idea where they are," Rhodes said after they connected the airpod. They were in Aurelio's computer room."Have you checked all the places mentioned?" Aurelio asked."Yes, boss," Sin slammed his fist on the table."I know we shouldn't have trusted him," he said."How are we going to save them now?" Tessa mumbled.Aurelio faced them. "Godfather Marcelo didn't lie to us. They are somewhere near the place. We just haven't figured it out,""Time is running out of our hands, Aurelio. We have no idea how they are doing. What if... What if they are not even in America?" Snow asked.Aurelio didn't reply as Godfather Marcelo's words echoed in his head again."Store, water, radio station, trees.""An island," Aurelio suddenly said. The members looked at him with a raised brow."They are being hidden on an island. It is surrounded by a store, water, a radio station and there are trees. We have to look for an island that has all these things," Aurel
CHAPTER 80**COMPUTER ROOM**Mykel's fingers worked on the keyboard as he tried to track their location, but it proved abortive."We have to do something, Aurelio. They might hurt them," Snow said, pacing around.Aurelio held her hand. "Nothing will happen to them, I promise," he said."If I get my hands on them, I won't—""This isn't the time to start," Sin cut her off, taking his gaze back to Mykel."Any luck?" Sin asked.Mykel nodded negatively."It's pointless, we'd never be able to track their location. Marcelo wouldn't be stupid enough. Mykel, book a ticket for Rhodes, Gael, Ava and Ashley," Aurelio said."On it," Mykel said."I also want to go with them. It's my mom we are talking about," Snow said."They kidnapped Shane, Mia and your mother, what makes you think you won't be kidnapped as well? He does not want to harm them. They want something," Aurelio said and picked up his phone from the drawer. He placed a call to Godfather Marcelo and on the third ring, he answered. It was
CHAPTER 79**COSA NOSTRA**Murmurs rented the house as they all spoke about Aurelio's destroying the contract.Godfather Marcelo was the one who informed them. They didn't want to believe the news until Aurelio himself came and made it clear to them.Although they were tense, the house was still scented with cigarettes, tobacco and so many hard drugs. Some were even discussing their next shipment.Cold steps stepped in, and they focused their gaze on the entrance.Sin walked in with Aurelio behind him.The mafia men all stood and bowed in respect to Aurelio.A gentle nod from Aurelio was all it took and they sat down.Aurelio took the stage, while Sin stood by the side. The mafia men's attention was on Aurelio.Ever since he became their leader, he had never stood on the stage to address them.In fact, he had never said a word in any of the meetings, but today, he was standing on the stage, looking at those impatiently waiting men."Surprised?"
