CHAPTER SIX
"What?" Alexander asked, he was really caught off guard. This girl…he thought, and placed two fingers under his chin, his eyes fixed on her."You heard me, I'd like to be your maid. Your personal one." Luna was saying things she didn't want to say, but she was loving it.She is confident, Alexander likes that. He darkened his eyes, trying to read her expressions. She wasn't joking, he could tell."You wouldn't last a day." Alexander said, pride evident in his voice. He was sure that this little girl wouldn't last a day with him. Nobody has."It's a challenge then."She walked out of the room, satisfied with herself."Ouch.." Luna exclaimed as she rubbed her forehead where it had come in contact with a really hard surface."Holy fuck." She cursed again, now feeling the searing pinch across her forehead."Fucks aren't holy.." Without looking up, she knew a charming smile would be plastered on the speaker's face. "They're either dirty or sinful.""You shouldn't wait right at the door! Look at you trying to rip my forehead with your abnormally hard chest!" Luna seethed, still not completely recovered from the hit. This time, she glared at Christian. His brows were high up and his signature smile decorated his handsome features."Okay-"No way could Christian accept defeat so easily and simply within the few hours she had known him-"But, I promise another part of me could be as hard and can rip not just your forehead in half." He smirked.Of course he wouldn't keep it holy."Shut up!"Christian pretended to zip his mouth and throw the keys away. But, almost immediately he spoke again."What was it you were discussing with the boss?"They were now walking out of the mansion."Being a maid."Christian paused, disbelief written all over his face. "Are you kidding! You're supposed to avoid him, not do that! Miles is gonna be hysterical, you've no idea how worried you made him.""I know, I know. But, I can't just stay doing nothing or I'm gonna pick everyone's pocket and get thrown out."Christian threw his head back and laughed heartily. They had only emerged, when a small and petite woman of about the same age as Luna, approached them."Hello, I'm Susan. You must be Luna, the boss told me to lead you to the quarters. I see you're our new maid."Susan smiled warmly, offering her equally small palm to which Luna took."This way please..""Take care. Make sure you stay alive and see your brother." Christian advised, as he jogged away, leaving her to follow Susan in the direction she left.It was odd how her life was taking turns in just the span of two days. It was crazy, but she liked it…so much."This is the kitchen..."It was large and filled to the brim with everything a kitchen required."We have a lot of maids who serve the cafeteria, but only a few get to serve the boss, Gold here does."Two women were dicing some onions, one raised her hands and waved without sparing her a look."Ignore them.." Susan whispered. "The other is Crystal. They're fraternal twins.""The boss takes his coffee first before breakfast. For a try, serve him this." Susan brought out a steaming cup of coffee on a portable tray."Dark coffee with no milk or sugar is his preference. Now take this to him..""What? Now-w?" Luna stuttered with wide eyes.Susan shrugged. "Yes."Luna squeezed her face into a frown. Soo, she found herself in the room she had only left minutes ago.It was clean now, with no blood or dead body unlike minutes ago. But, Alexander was still there looking out of the window. That was bad enough."Here."She dropped the coffee on the only available table in the room. "Your morning coffee."Oh, it wasn't hard!Alexander turned, he took long firm strides, pushing Luna's shoulder until her back almost hit the wall, but she stopped. What was happening? She breathed from the heat that suddenly emanated from his body.He leaned closer such that he was whispering. "You can't be my maid.""Why not?" Luna definitely raised her chin."Are you willing to serve me more than just my meal?" He whispered, allowing his lips to touch her ear."Are you?" Luna tried backing away from Alexander, but with every step that she took back, he took double. Her heart started beating fast, faster than normal and she didn't know how she felt about that. "I do not appreciate being ignored. You either answer me immediately..." He moved closer to her and gripped her waist as hard as he could, placing his mouth behind her ears again. "Or you end up like the man you saw in the room minutes ago," he completed, his hot breath brushing against her skin, which had gone cold from fear. He backed away from her with his eyes dancing with mischief, he really enjoyed seeing her like that; scared, legs shaking and definitely rethinking the decision she made. Alexander walked back to his seat and slowly took the coffee. He placed it against his lips, his eyes only fixed on one thing - person, Luna. Alexander didn't know what she was thinking, but he badly wanted to know. So, he peeled his eyes away from her and focused on the coffee. The moment the liquid left the cup and went straight into his mouth, he spitted it out, alerting Luna. She dashed forward and placed her hand on his back, asking him if he was okay. That question needed to be answered by her because she literally just walked into the lion's den, nobody ever dares to touch Alexander that way, nobody! But, there Luna was, rubbing his back, still asking him if he was okay. "Oh, you!" Alexander stood up immediately and gripped Naya's neck, making her stagger backwards. For a second, she lost her balance, but with Alex's hand on her neck, she didn't fall down. "What the fuck is this?" He asked, pointing to the almost empty cup of coffee. Luna stared at him like he had gone crazy for a second before muttering, "coffee. Your morning coffee," under her breath. A loud chuckle boomed across the room from Alexander's mouth. The naivety of the girl seemed so amusing to him. "I don't want it. It's bad." Alexander whispered and Luna's eyes settled on the coffee cup again. She was confused, so confused. "I-" she tried speaking to tell Alex that she didn't even prepare it, but his deadly stares made her swallow the words as soon as they formed in her head. "I said I don't want it! Make another one. You want to be my maid, show me you're really worthy to be my...maid."CHAPTER SEVEN Luna stared at Alexander, confusion written all over her face. Things were becoming real so fast and even though it is just her first day as Alex's maid, she is starting to rethink her decision. With her chin up and her head held high, she moved away from Alexander and said, "I am worthy to be your maid and you know that!" She sounded so confident, that she doubted if she really meant that. Alexander titled his head to a side, staring at her. He seemed surprised and impressed at the same time, but he decided to not let her know at all. He wanted her to suffer a bit. "Oh, really? Prove it then. Make another cup of coffee in-" he glanced down at his watch and slowly raised his head. "- in five minutes!" He completed and crossed his hands around his chest. Luna looked away from him for a second. How could she prepare a coffee in a matter of minutes, when she had never prepared it before? An evil smirk danced on Alexander's lips, he was happy to see her that way. He cle
CHAPTER EIGHT Luna backed away from Alexander with her eyes still fixed on him. She had tears in her eyes, but she didn't know why. Alex squinted his eyes at her, trying to move closer to her. "Did...you bite me?" She asked, while pressing her fingers against the red, painful spot. In response, Alex rolled his eyes and gripped her hand. "It's called a hickey, okay? You will get used to it, don't worry." With that, he released her hand and walked to the kitchen. Luna cleaned her dry face and walked after him. She didn't understand what he meant by saying she will get used to it, but she didn't ask. She knows that she would be better off not knowing what he meant by that statement. "Why are you here anyway...sir? I'm the maid here, I should be allowed to do my job." Luna called out, trying to meet up with his speed. Alex didn't say anything. Instead, he stopped in the kitchen and dismissed all the workers there. They all got out, but not before throwing scornful looks at Luna. She i
CHAPTER NINEAlex took her to his room. When they got there, he carefully placed her on the bed like she was a baby. "Stay still!" He ordered and went on his knees. Her eyes were fixed on his face. She wondered how the most feared person in the whole mansion was kneeling right before her. It was weird and she didn't know how to feel about it. He started removing her footwears, helping her to stand up. "Are you okay?" He asked and settled his hand on her waist, trying to hold her in place. The injury wasn't serious, but it still hurt anytime her injured leg touched the bare floor. "Do you want me to carry you?" He asked and she slowly nodded. He bent a little and carried her in a bridal style, with his hands slightly below her butt. She was staring at him, as he walked to the bathroom. When they got to the bathroom, Luna's eyes widened. That was the most beautiful bathroom that she had ever seen and she wasn't even exaggerating. She felt like it was way too white for her and any mi
CHAPTER TEN Miles started dragging Luna, squeezing her hands as hard as he could. He was angry, really angry, but he wasn't showing it. "You're hurting me, miles." Luna whimpered under his touch, trying to free her hand from his hard grip. "Of course, I am. Are you crazy?! That's my boss, Alexander! You're crazy!" He left her wrist and started walking away from her. Luna started running after him, but he was really fast. Before getting to the room, Miles turned around and asked her not to follow him around, but she did. "I'm sorry, even though I don't know what I did wrong." She shrugged when she got inside. He turned around with a frown on his face. He seemed so angry. "You don't know what you do? Oh wow. I can see you're getting too comfortable here." Miles brushed past her, leaving her to her thoughts. Did I do anything wrong? She asked herself, staring at the door in confusion. Things are really weird around here, I hope I survive. She added, staring at her palms. Miles got
CHAPTER ELEVEN Luna didn't answer his question. Instead, she turned around and she started leaving in anger. "what? Why are you leaving?" Christian ran after her, trying to stop her from moving. "I don't know, Chris. I guess I just want to go back," she said to him, trying to move his hands away from her wrists, but he was way too strong. Christian didn't say anything after that. He tightened his grip around her wrist and they started walking back home in silence. Just like Luna feared, Miles was standing there, a few steps away from the house, staring at them like he was about to murder them the next minute. "I warned you not to go out, Luna. You didn't listen." He said as soon as she got close enough to him. His eyes were glazing with anger and she knew that she had made a big mistake. "Yes, I'm sorry. I-" she started saying, but Miles looked away from her and squinted his eyes at Christian, who didn't even look intimidated by him. Miles didn't say anything to him. He just sco
CHAPTER TWELVE "What are you doing here? And what did you see?" Alex started walking towards Luna, who was fidgeting before him. Her eyes roamed around the hallway, searching for a way to escape from Alex. His eyes darkened with anger, and she just knew that she was in for it all. Sha had gotten herself in a lot of trouble. "I. Asked. A. Question." He slowly said, his eyes piercing Luna's. "I- I was searching for miles." Luna lied, her eyes moving around the hallway. She was staring at everywhere but his face. "Even miles knows that this place is out of bounds during this time." He casually glanced at his watch and back to Luna's face. She nervously gulped as her legs gave way under her. She fell to the ground and shut her eyes. Alex rolled his eyes and dipped his hands into his pockets, looking down at her. She was dramatic, he would definitely give her that, but he wasn't in for her nonsense. "Get up, Luna. I'm not going to repeat it!" He yelled at her and watched her shiver
Chapter THIRTEENAlexander was walking away from Luna, who was sitting on the floor, with her legs folded up to her chest. After taking about two long strides away from her, he suddenly stopped in his tracks. He turned and stared at her, before walking away. The fourth shower in a row but to no avail. The stinging on her ass still sent delicious shivers down her spine as she let the cold water trickle down her body, it lingered on the skin there and caused her to shudder even more.Luna cursed under her breath turning off the shower and emerged. She clad herself in her sleep attire which was a silk short and an equally frail shirt. "Let's see if this devilishly handsome son of a bachelor will evade my mind long enough for sleep to envelope me" Luna spoke to herself plopping on the bed while closing her eyes. The brightness of the light lulled her softly. Luna hated sleeping with the lights off.Few minutes later, a loud hiss echoed and it came from no other rather than Luna herself. Y
Chapter FOURTEEN Alexander gentled dropped her on his King's size bed and hovered over her. He let his thumb trail her thumb as he bent his head into the crook of her neck."I want to taste you tonight." He whispered seductively into her ear causing her to let out a shaky breath beneath him.Alexander studied the eager expression on Luna's face before dusting kisses over her collarbone while his hands worked deftly in pulling the shirt she had on halfway over her chest to exposed her already hardening breast. He flicked the right bud and a moan escaped Luna.He placed a palm underneath her head to enable him do away with her shirt. That done, he bent to follow wrap his mouth over the sensitive nipple of her right breast. Luna shoved her fingers into his hair as she closed her eyes in pleasure and moaned even louder. His tongue licked and sucked eliciting wreathing reactions from her. Alexander raised his head up to look into her eyes with such intensity that made a pool of wetness res
