Ria's POV. I stood up and they led me out of the room. We walked down the hallway and got to a black door with two guards standing in front of it. The maids released my hands, bowed their heads and left. My eyes darted around. I wanted to call them back to stay with me, but I kept quiet. One of the guards stepped forward, scanned me with his eyes before he brought out a black cloth from his pocket. He went round me, and blindfolded me with the black cloth. "What are you doing?" I asked, as he tied the clothes three times. I asked again, but I didn't get a reply. Instead, he held my hand and started leading me forward. My heart continued racing and I started thinking that I would pass out any minute because of how scared I was. As we walked, I prayed to the moon goddess to save me. I didn't want to die, not before making Alex pay for breaking my heart. I heard the jiggles of keys, as the door was getting opened which snapped me out of my thoughts.

Ria's POV. I went inside the dining hall and my heart skipped when I saw alpha Damien sitting at the far end of the table. "Why do you look scared?" He asked, which made me snap out of my thoughts and my legs started working, as I walked to the table and picked the seat that was the farthest away from him.
