Ashley

Ashley felt restless and she couldn’t quite place a reason for her restlessness. Deciding not to sit around aimlessly while the boredom ate into her like termites would to wood, she decided to take a walk around the house.

With a bottle of liquor in her hands and a dagger in the other, she pranced about the house until she got to the picture gallery.

This part of the house was the most serene… and the most beautiful as well. She admired each portrait, running her fingers deftly over each and every one as she went until she stopped at one.

It was a painting which was depicting a picture of Zeke . The picture which had been a gift from him and which she had hated with intense passion stared back at her as she stared at it.

“Ugly, ugly burnt out carrot!” She chanted, tapping on the surface of the portrait.

For a minute, she wished she could rip out his eyes from the portrait and that it would really happen in real life too. She hated him that much.
