CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, they cited a taxi and quickly hailed it down. As they climbed inside, Sophia instructed the driver to take them to the precinct.

When they arrived at the precinct, all eyes were on them. Some officers were speaking in low voices to each other. Sophia quickly went to the ladies room to freshen up, then headed to the file room to meet with luke.

They spent hours poring over the files, trying to piece together the evidence. They were about to give up when Luke spotted something that caught his eye.
