CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

As Sophia neared the commotion, she saw the flashing blue and red lights of police cars illuminating the street. She could hear the wails of an ambulance siren in the distance, getting closer by the second. She knew that something serious had happened.

Pushing her way through the throngs of people, Sophia made her way to the center of the crowd. What she saw made her heart sink.
