I spin around, my heart pounding fast.

Karla scared me to death.
I look back, only to see that the person I just saw is gone. Or maybe... He was not even there in the first place.
I am probably just having hallucinations.
Karla hugs me briefly, with this concerned look on her face.
"You look like you have just seen a ghost, bitch. What's up?"
The truth is, I just did see a ghost.
I fake a smile.
"No. It's nothing. It's just... How you screamed my name... It got to me."
Karla grins so broadly as a built man joins us. He is very good looking, I must say.
He stretches his hand to me. "Marcelo."
