39. RESCUE TEAM

The sixth day of the week was my favorite day. The sixth day of the week was family day. No work, nothing but spending time as a people and as a family. The sixth day was also what I called ‘Kicking Dante’s ass’ day.

The field was set, all players in place and it was game time. Kaida and Kyde flew on the sides of the field, ready for the game to start. My little nightmare, Kia lay on a blanket at a safer distance from the field with a few of the ladies watching over him. I was sure he was all grins. The little terror loved female attention.

All the teams were ready and I could not help but lick my lips as my gaze fell on Dante. He looked good enough to eat and it took everything in me to not push him to the ground and ride that face.
