Chapter Thirty Three

Selena’s POV

Clutching my phone tightly, I resumed pacing about my room with a large scowl on my face. With the way things were going, I had to come up with a plan, else I would become the victim.

“Selena, what exactly is the problem? You have been this way since last night, tell me, who knows if I can be of help.” Jhenna, my friend said.

“You can’t help me now.” I replied, scrolling through my phone.

“What makes you think so? Just tell me, even if I can’t help you like you said, I can recommend someone to help you.” She said persistently.

Her attitude of always trying to offer help whenever I needed it was one thing that made me adore her, but right now, instead of adoring her, I was beyond pissed.

“Stay away from me.” I yelled, when she tried to come close.

“Come on, stop acting as if I’m a villain when in the real sense I’m just trying to help. You are my friend and whenever you are bothered, I should be bothered too.” She snapped.

“In this case, you shouldn’t be bothered.”
