FAZER LOGINTHIRD PERSON POV.
Dante’s fists slammed repeatedly against the punching bag, his rage increasing with each strike. He could not get over the audacity of that new girl questioning his authority and humiliating him in front of the entire school, something that had never happened in his entire life. With every hit, his anger grew stronger as he silently plotted ways to make her pay dearly for it. “Still thinking about that girl?” Collin teased, a smirk playing on his lips while casually resting his hands on the breasts of a girl neither of his brothers had seen before. But Dante and Kris paid her no attention. It was a regular sight seeing Collin, the youngest of the triplets, with a different girl almost every day. Dante stopped the swinging punching bag, violently yanked off his gloves, and threw them across the room. “She really got to you, huh, bro?” Collin chuckled. “I have never seen you this worked up over a girl before.” Dante glared at his brother, clearly not amused. He collapsed into a nearby chair and muttered under his breath, “That stupid bitch.” Collin leaned forward, watching as Dante repeatedly ran his hands through his hair. “So what are you going to do about this girl?” he asked with a smug grin. “She made a fool out of you in front of the entire school. What’s stopping her from doing it again? I think you should teach her a lesson. One she would never forget.” Kris, who had been silently scrolling through his phone, finally decided to speak. “Or maybe you should let it slide. After all, if you had not made that ridiculous request, none of this would have happened,” he pointed out calmly. Dante scoffed. “Please, don’t start with one of your lectures. I’m not in the mood for that. Besides, you wouldn’t understand. Asserting dominance is much better than trying to play nice.” “If that’s completely true, then why didn’t it work on that girl?” Kris asked matter-of-factly. “Because humans are stubborn and brainless. Eventually, I’ll teach that weak creature her place. Trust me.” Kris merely shook his head, not interested in arguing further. Just then, the door burst wide open. Standing there was Ava, clutching a crumpled piece of paper in her hand while breathing heavily as though she had run all the way there. Without sparing anyone else in the room a glance, she marched straight toward Dante and threw the paper at him. “Do I look like a joke to you?” she yelled, jabbing a finger against his hard chest, her face red with rage. “Just because you’re the Alpha’s son does not give you the right to treat me like this. I refuse to quit!” Dante’s confusion slowly shifted into irritation. “What the hell are you talking about? Last time I checked, you were the one who injured my nose, and now you have the audacity to storm into my private gym and start talking nonsense?” Ava crossed her arms, her voice calmer now. “It’s a shame your nose healed so nicely. I liked it better when it was disfigured. It suited your personality.” Her comment earned a few suppressed laughs from the others in the room, though they quickly disguised them as coughs the moment Dante shot them a warning glare. “If you think you’re going to expel me because of some stupid misunderstanding, then you must be joking. I’m not leaving after my mother spent so much money on my tuition,” Ava added firmly. “What are you talking about, weakling?” Dante narrowed his eyes at her. Before she could answer, Collin interrupted. “Seeing as you embarrassed Dante in front of the whole school, I thought it would be better if you got expelled before you corrupted anyone else’s mind.” He grinned before adding, “Just following my teacher’s example.” Ava’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Wow. So not only are you bullies, but you’re cowards too?” she scoffed. “What’s wrong? Are you scared I’m going to destroy your little empire?” “I’m not a coward,” Dante snapped immediately, unwilling to let his image take another hit. “And what makes you think I’m going to let you off without proper punishment?” he asked, leaning forward until he was inches away from her face. “I may not be as powerful as you people, but one thing I will never tolerate is allowing some spoiled rich boys to treat me like I’m nothing!” Dante burst into laughter as though she had just told the funniest joke imaginable. “We can’t treat you like nothing. You want to know why?” He paused, his tone dropping into something colder and far more wicked. “Because to us, you already are nothing.” Ava bit down on her lip, holding back the anger threatening to explode inside her. “I guess you need more than a nosebleed to knock some sense into you.” “What I need, sweetheart, is someone to remind the entire school what happens when you end up in the Golden Boys’ bad books.” “Golden Boys? That has got to be the lamest name I’ve ever heard,” Ava scoffed before turning to leave. “See you at school tomorrow, Navy,” Dante called after her mockingly. The second she disappeared from the room, Kris spoke up. “I like her.” “I agree,” Collin nodded approvingly. “It’s rare seeing someone stand up to Dante, especially someone of her rank. I find it admirable.” “I wouldn’t call it admirable,” Dante muttered, clenching his fists tightly. “There’s nothing admirable about stupidity.” “What are you going to do to her?” Collin asked almost too eagerly. But that was not surprising. He had always enjoyed drama far too much. Dante fell silent for a moment, staring blankly ahead before finally speaking in a low, husky tone. “Exactly what we’ve always done to people who forget their place.” “You wouldn’t go that far,” Kris warned cautiously. Dante’s expression darkened. “She asked for it.”AVA’S POV.I gently wrapped my fingers around my mother’s cold hands,as the heart monitor continued its steady beeping. I sniff back a tear, saying a little prayer to whatever god that could hear me. I was so grateful that Kris had been with me, when I saw my mother’s unconscious body lying in the living room, who knows what would have happened if I had not gotten here in time. She had aged drastically in a matter of minutes, her skin had lost the vibrant colour she once had. The doctor and two nurses came into the room. “Miss Ava,” the doctor began, his voice gentle yet firm, "we need to conduct some further examinations and procedures. It would be best if you stepped out for a moment."I hesitated, reluctant to leave my mother's side even for a moment, but I had to trust the medical team. "Of course, Doctor," I replied. I looked at my mom one last time before stepping out of the room.Outside the room, I found Kris and Collin standing side by side. As soon as they saw me, Colli
KRIS’ POV. I was so glad, I could finally get a chance to talk and apologise to Ava without any of my brothers batting an eye. In their minds, this was all a game but for me, this was just an opportunity to get to know her. There was probably no point in me trying to get her to like me or nurturing my feelings for her because, at the end of it all, there was no way we were ever going to be together. I waited in my car, hoping to see her come out so I could drive her home. I sighted Ava coming down the stairs and my heart raced a million miles per second. Ava looked breathtaking as ever, her red hair was packed in a bun and I wondered how it would look if it was let down and let free. “Hey Ava,” I called out “Would you like a ride,”“No thanks,” Ava responded, barely glancing in my direction. “Please let me take you home,” I pleaded desperately, slowing driving as she walked faster.“I said No,” Ava said, annoyed. “It will be faster if you come with me, I promised to get you ho
AVA’S POV. I sat alone in the cafeteria eating my homemade lunch. I scanned the hall hoping I would see Lisa but she was not in the area. “Is this seat taken ?” Tiana asked in her ever cheerful voice. “It's free,” I answered.Tiana sat down next to me, bringing out her lunch. She took a glance at me. “You brought your own lunch too, I knew we were perfect for each other,” Tiana said giggling. “Yeah I did,” I said, swallowing down my sandwich.“I always hated food that was not properly made by my chef, I have specific dietary needs and I hate having to suffer because someone forgets to do their job well,” she said.“Oh!” I mouthed “It must be tough for you,”“Yes, it is. Do you also have that same issue?” Tiana asked.“Nope, it’s cheaper to bring home cooked food than spending so much money on overpriced lunch here,” I answered honestly. “My bad, I forgot you weren’t so rich,” Tiana said. I felt like I was being punched in the face, I am very aware that Tiana was richer than me
DANTE’S POVI was halfway down the hallway when I heard hurried footsteps behind me.“Lisa, please wait up!”I did not bother turning around. I already knew that voice belong to. Out of the corner of my eye, I caught her weaving through the crowded hallway, chasing after Lisa like her life depended on it. Ava, however, seemed too distracted to notice where she was going because the next second, she slammed straight into me.The impact sent her stumbling backwards.Instinctively I grabbed her waist, pulling her against me before she could hit the floor. My grip tightened automatically. For a second, everything else faded. Her scent slammed into me like a full moon tide, wild and intoxicating enough to knock the air out of my lungs. She smelled strongly of sweetness like a mixture of Vanilla and cinnamon. I inhaled sharply, the addictive scent sinking into my veins like a drug.My wolf stirred violently as if desperate to claim her.Mine.The word echoed in my head once. Then again.
AVA’S POV. I rang the doorbell twice as I nervously waited for Tiana to open the door. I knew Tiana was rich but this house was massive and I wondered if I was in the right address. “Hi, you must be Ava,” greeted a middle aged woman as she opened the door to welcome me inside their home.“Hey… y-yes, I’m Ava,” I stuttered nervously. “You look so stunning; you must be Tiana’s mom,” I added. She chuckled softly. “You are so kind. I’m the chief maid,” she replied with a gentle smile.“Oh,” I mouthed, feeling embarrassed by my assumption. Clearly, no one owns a house like this without having maids. It must be nice to have people to take care of everything for you. As I waited for Tiana , I scanned around the house, her home was well designed and beautiful, nothing like mine. My home was old and always had a new problem, it was so often that I had learnt to do most repairs myself and I find myself wishing I was born wealthy. "Avaaaa!" Tiana screamed excitedly as she ran downstairs t
AVA’S POV.We had just ended our first class when my phone beeped. I picked it up and saw a message from Lisa, my best friend. I read the text.*}}}Ava, it pains me to say this, but I believe it’s best for us to take a break from our friendship. You have always been my closest friend, always defending me, but I have realised I haven’t been there for you when you needed me most. I feel ashamed to call myself your best friend, and I believe you deserve someone who can truly support you.{{{*I read Lisa’s message over and over, puzzled as to why she would send something like that. I texted her back, but she did not respond. Sighing, I pocketed my phone and decided to find her. I headed to her locker, but as soon as she saw me, she closed it and walked away. I called out her name, but she ignored me and quickened her steps.“Lisa,” I called out again, increasing my pace to catch up with her, but she continued walking fast, not even glancing back.“Lisa, please, can we talk?” I pleaded, re
