Chapter Twenty-three.

Diana's pov

Exiting the humongous gates of the palace, I scrolled down the streets of the city, with my air pods plugged in. I had little change with me, so first off, I had gotten something to eat.

After I was done with my breakfast, I lingered for a bit in the restaurant contemplating whether or not this was really a good idea. I had sat long enough when a waiter approached me and asked if I had wanted anything else, I declined her kind offer and exited the restaurant.

I stopped a cab and gave him my home address and we were off.

The more we got farther away from the castle, the more the houses began to shimmer down in their vigor and structure. It was the top Lycans and elites, basically the rich, those who weren't Lycans and couldn't even afford to live there had to cope with the outer cities where I was headed to.

It didn't take long before we finally arrived in Callaway City, a population of less than three hundred, that consisted of both wolves and humans.
