Diana's pov.

I felt my life flash before my eyes as I tightly shot them and waited for the impact. I prayed to the moon goddess and maybe, this time I'll see her and be with her as well as my father.

I had to let go this time, there was nothing for me, at least that was what I thought, I felt a prick at the corner of my eyes.

My eyes were tightly shut as I waited for the impact, seconds passed but it never came. I cracked my eyelids which were too heavy for me as the tears welled up in them.

My breathing was elevated as my entire body trembled in fear and shook, once again I was placed in a difficult situation with death.

My fingers shook as I clasped them together and cried in fear, “Why… why… would you?” I couldn't even complete my sentence without stuttering anxiously.

The hairs at the back of my neck stood on edge, the goosebumps spread across my skin, there was a constant ringing in my ears.
