THE VALLEY OF DEATH

After Cord had settled down and the journey continued into the valley of chameleons, the name of the kings special squad called the camelon was named after the perilous valley of fire bearing dragons, he wanted to wait for the sun to set when he shall be powerful enough to venture into the great valley, there was a Forest beside the lake where the snakes and the Python died, it was good to look upon, the trees flourishes very well and their leafs were green and dark, they were tall like they would touch the sky, carpet grass spreads like rug and covered the whole soil, there was no better place to stay and wait for the remaining few hours to the sun set, he walked into the tree and the little girl and Cord was there with her, some palm trees were ahead and so were coconut trees, they had not eating anything in a long time, and thought to eat some coconut and drank it juice, Iron bath pluck some and prepared them for consumption, they sat under one of the giant trees of the land, they eat the coconut and drank juices, but it was a mistake that would hunt not only them, but marked the Beginning of such an end to spell and magic.

When it was time for the journey, Iron bath became werewolf as usual, he had mastered it all, and had turned without feeling any pain, the girls was not scared of her, she was still eating coconut and almost not seem to see anything happening around her, they began the movement into the valley, he entered into the narrow parts that no man had stepped into for a long time, not after what happened years back, he was on a mission and almost was burnt to death by the fire from the dragons that wanted all.of them dead, he couldn't leave the little girl behind, he was more man than a beast her looked like, and had so many goods in him, the reason he had failed to kill the girl that he had been told possessed the spirit of Samson, who must have chosen her for her beauty, no man could in his right senses kill such a beautiful girl like her, if he had not went to the place where the girl was kept, she would be there for life, the journey continued and only him was not scared, he kept walking with such a great courage, such he did not have, when he first stepped into the perilous land of crawling fiery dragons, the road wouldn't have been narrow if the leafs had not formed a kind of natural fence all through the path, it was dark and devilishly silent, some sounds from toads and crickets could be had, and once in a while a sharp sound made by vultures or perhaps eagles, he kept on going and the little girl and Cord was with him, thy walked behind him like there was a force pulling them close behind him, they were reacting towards any movement, and after a long walk, they came out of the road into an open, the land they were, looked so surprisingly plain, it was a good looking piece of land, and there were no sign of any dragon, if he hadn't been there before, he would say the land was a peaceful one, they kept walking and wouldn't stop even when they were tired, after a long walk, and they were seeing the Sultan ahead, they decided to stop and enter ilthe small settlement ahead, it won't look good to appear as a wolf into a peaceful settlement, and he won't become a man until the morning comes, they went into a banana tree plantation and slept there till day break, and when it was morning and they were supposed to wake up and continue their journey, they only needed to walk through the settlement, but some soldiers had surrounded them with swords and archers were in a little distance away, he was surprised seeing most of his kingdom armies around him, the priest who turned him into a wolf was angry and had analyzed his mistake to the kind and made everyone in the kingdom knew the danger it will be, that he refused to kill the girl, they were waiting and all they all knew was that Samson was back and according to the priest, Cord was a bearer of a great wizard that almost succeeded in destroying the Love land kingdom, they now saw Iron bath as a betrayer, and they were ready to kill him on sight, he stood up and was confused, he asked, " what is you people's problem, can't you see who stand before you, if you love your self, just turn back and tell your king that I am back," the armies were not ready to do his words, they insisted he go with them, or die where he stood.when he realised the men won't leave without him following, he became angry, he was an higher ranking officer, he was to be respected, by the floor armies, he was part of the chameleons, and only answer directly to the king, he stood up, stood tall without a weapon in his hands, the armies had been directed by the king to kill him and in such time the rank of an officer would count to nothing, the one leading said in a louder and with an authoritative voice, " Iron bath, I command you to move, you betrayal," the word betrayer was the only thing that got him angry, and he ran towards the armies ahead, and with a single blow, he broke the Man's neck, the archers wasted no time, they released arrows towards them, even the armies with him, who had came alongside the archers died in their hand, he and the girls stood alone and more armies came along, it was morning and it was not possible for him to turn, and if he couldn't turn, then he would be of no power except his natural strength and combat skills, they kept shooting at the three of them, And he had thousands of the arrows all over his body before he died, Cord and the little girl was alive and none of the arrows got them, the armies knew it was not an accident that they were missed, it must be magics, priest showed up and he saw the Iron bath buried in thousands of arrows, he shouted, " who did this who? The arrows must not hit his heart or we may be having another war in our hand, you were supposed to fight him without any weapon, the girls stood looking at him, as he ordered they bring Iron bath body to him, and it was so, next minutes, his body was laying flat on a long wooden table in front of him, he removed All the arrows, but one, the one he said managed to missed the heart, and any attempt to pull it would affect his heart and the heart of a werewolf is his evil, and no matter what anyone do, touching his heart would always be a mistake, he was laying in front of him, he had to wait till night, and in case he wakes up, there must be another wolf waiting by, or he shall.slaughter the whole kingdom in a minute, " then let us cut off his head," the priest shouted " Aaaaaaa' that will be another mistake, if a heartless man loses his brain, he shall kill without exception, if they made it past the night and he did not wake up, them the problem was solved, but if he wakes, it shall be the most brutal warfare human had ever witnessed.

If their was a warning so accurate in those days, it was that of the priest, and since he said it was a mistake to had attacked him with weapon, truly it was a mistake, and if he says, there was a problem, then there was, now that he said they should pray the Iron bath stay dead, they all were scared and waited by, praying he stays dead, the girls stood and refused to seat they in the other hand wanted their priend back alive, they knew he would never hurt them, and though the day seem longer than usuals, it eventually got dark as the sun finally decided to set, the night moon was full and it light shown like day, the armies were there and so were the girls, also the king, he had of the mistake and also was scared, they waited and when it was morning and the Iron math stayed dead and it was then the priest could breath a breath of relief, the two girls began to cry, though they only had met him a day a go, but it was as if they had met for a thousand year, they saw he was dead and began to cry, the priest turned to live, he said to.the armies, pointing to Cord, " that is your Samson," and that is the Python apprentice, kill them," the archers began to shoot, as he was leaving, the girls suddenly became violent going toward the archers shooting at them, and more armies came at them, suddenly a lightning stroke, and the two of them began to.to turn to.something else, the girl became a dragon and began to flush the whole land with her fire, Cord also changed into a female werewolf and also charged toward the shooting armies.

The wizard had gone and so was the king, there was nothing to worry about anymore, at least the he had finally died, and they felt it was easy to finish the two girls, after all they were just girls, none of them knew nothing about war, they thought, even Cord who the wizard knew had the Samson's powers was yet to be a threat, the armies were dying in a large number, there was a way to reach the wizard, for these two animals. The armies kept trying and when they were not able to make a scratch at the two beasts, they decided to retreat, but they could not as Iron was already alive, and he was standing by the road, where stood as the only road they were supposed to pass, he stood and forceful pulled out the last arrow by his chest, and just as said by the priest, the arrow wounded his heart, and that turned around and made him love violent always..

He was more than a werewolf his eyes were blazing like fire, the little girl now a dragon, had wing, she must have been a dragon before, and many that went toward the exit were burnt by the fire, the warriors tried all they could, but their strength was not enough, and just one breath, and fire came out of her mouth, and all the perimeter where the soldiers were, was covered in such a great fire that made it impossible for any one to escape, and in a short time, they all died and there was not even a single one that escape to tell the story of what they had seen, to any one, when they all had died, the tree of them were still beasts and they headed towards the settlement, and it was a few steps away, smokes came out of the village, the armies that had attacked them were within an internal battle, the battle was not with any kingdom nor with any one, it was with groups of animals from the valley of chameleons, they saw the fire and knew about the blaze river that was attacked by Cord with fire, they saw thousands of reptiles that died in it, when she rain fire on them, they became angry and scared, for there was prophecy that there shall comes a day, when when a possessed girl shall walk through the valley and put to dead all that decides in it, she shall scream and her scream shall bring about fire, one that will kill them all, and the river that was set on fire, it came to pass, and they all knew that their end was near, they were going to die, so they set out to destroy as many as possible kingdoms, before the girl made it to them and fulfill the prophecy, they cake into Tue settlement at mif night and attacked it, the brave soldiers attacked them and thy had fought all night, they were busy fighting when they had about Iron path arrival and according to the priest, he was an enemy that must be put to death, apart of his failure to kill the possessed he was to be put to death because he was a werewolf and no matter how friendly he was or how good his heart may be, they always in the end become a threat to the people they were made to protect, the person was from the history that detailed the kingdom that was emptied by the reptiles lord, one that was finally killed by Cord a night ago.

The Python was never born a snake, he was a responsible and a family man who had his own beautiful wife and a child, the only child was a girl and he was supposed to be a king when his father died, but something something happened to him, the kingdom was facing attacks from a powerful kingdom, and this kingdom was not going to give them rest, they laid siege around it for many years, and it made it impossible for anyone to go out of the kingdom for business or farming, even hunter of those days kept their bows and arrows, for it was of no need, the kingdom became short of food and had started killing each other for food, before what happened to him happened, the throne was left empty for more than five years, though he was been respected like a king and many, and many cases were brought to him for judgement, and his judgments were never questioned, he had sworn never to sit on the throne that was his wright as the only son to his late father, who died thinking about the siege around his kingdom, it was when he couldn't do anything about it that he drank an highly poisonous substance and died right on the throne, Dada was always seeking help and solution, and on one of his quest for help, he came across an old woman, the woman was living alone in a house big enough for at least a hundred people, but for her wickedness, every one living in the house had left one by one until it was only her that remained in the big house, she was a fat blind woman, during her popular days, she committed lots of crimes, and the king could not do anything about her, when it became clear to the Senate, they evacuated all that lived atoud her house, and she had a whole settlement to her self alone, the place was nicknamed; " the wicked point, and no matter the necessity, nobody went through the land, in fact a bridge was constructed because of her, to form an alternative road to a friendly naiboring kingdom, she had been avoided ever since, and as time went on, people forgot that anyone existed that was called Aje ika, the witch at the wicked point, when Dada realized he was never going to defeat the siege, he made up his mind and decided to visit the land and his mission was to ask the witch for help, he said even though she was left alone for years, there was a fact that couldn't be wiped off, and it was the fact that the kingdom was also Aje ika kingdom too, and if she had any help or power, that time was the right time for her to use it, he began the journey and entered into the land and to the big house where the witch resided.

THE WICKEDNESS OF THE POINT

He arrived at the forgotten house or so to say, a deserted house, and the woman welcomed her warmly, he was not surprised about how the woman had welcomed him, he knew by gossip that such were her doing before she shall eventually bring her doom down on who ever was her victim, he was not ready to speak up until when he was sure his request would be granted, he was there for few days eating and dining with Aje ika, the witch as if she was a friend or family, but deep inside of him, he knew there was no way, the time shall come when she shall unleash her evils, and just as thought, the day finally came, Dada had just finished eating her food and took his plates to the store when he mistakenly fell down and broke the clay plates, he knew instantly that, definitely the time he was expecting had came, the woman had the sounds made by the broken plates and became angry so angry that she began to change into many species of angry predators, normally any man in such setuation would be afraid and shevering, but not Dada, he was standing fearlessly looking at her angry demonstration, and son he began to laugh out loudly, the witch, stopped changing and was back to.her natural human look, he was still laughing, such an act had never been seen demonstrated by any man or woman before, in such time they would be sweating already, but the prince kept laughing, and his action confused her, she waited until he was done laughing and asked, " and why are you laughing when your end is closed by? Dada looked at him one more time and stated another longer and louder sarcastic laughter.

She was tired of looking at him laughing, she founded her self a seat and sat down, she was still waiting for him to stop laughing, she could kill him where he was, but was more curious to know what was making him to laugh, after he was finally done laughing, he looked straight into the witch eyes, and spoke, " you are so.dumb a witch, according to legends of witches, they always have followers that made them looked honorable, and here you are alone, and another thing is that you are here behaving like the most powerful of all human, and yet a ten years siege was at your kingdom, and there was nothing you could do about it, I wonder who think you powerful, as for me, anything you can not share, is not much, if you are the powerful witch as you're called, then make me powerful enough to lay waste of the siege." Siege' She exclaimed, what siege? At where? I never knew of any siege, and I shall still kill you, but first, I will.show you that I have enough power that could be shared to.all man kind if I like, wait here tonight and in the morning you shall become so powerful that only you will be enough to Chase ten thousands and if at that time you still couldn't kill them all, I shall join you and lay waste of all the armies and their camps, according to her words, Dada waited a more night and when he woke up, he met her by his bed with a coconut, she handed it to him and he took a bite, as soon as he did, he knew something strange had happened to him, his eyes balls turned and looked just like a snake eyes, and he knew right away that he had been blessed with a power that was too much for any man, he was not needed to be trained, he already had every knowledge of what to do inside his head, he left and straight he went to the gate with a black piece of clothing tied around his face, he did that to stop the transformation, and once the eyes was opened, he turned into a snake so mighty, and attacked, the siege came at him, and they had a magician among them, who also changed into a Python, and it was the magician that had made it impossible for him to finish the whole armies, he was tired and decided to retreat, but them the woman came by and turned into more than a thousands small.snakes, the snakes covered the whole enemies position and were biting them, anyone that was bitten fell dead instantly, and before few days, the siege was over and everything came back to normal, Dada was made a king, and ruled for few years, but one day while he went to a river to swim, something very unexpected happened, he left and went back to his palace, and the news of people dropping dead was brought to him, a d all had drank or swim in the same river he had went swimming, he took the news as a warning and avoided the river, but the same thing to people who also took from the river he just used, and he began to understand that he was the poison in those waters, he was not the only one who found out, so.where every citizen of the kingdom, and the knowledge was a beginning to his problems. They began to avoid him, even when there were issues to be taken to the palace, people preferred to leave it without solution, this change in citizens brought about so many problems, and the problems starred up a reaction of the citizens, they came against their king till the trouble was too much for him, he left his palace to.live in the wicked point with the witch, and there he founded out the old woman had died through a natural illness, and he met a boy who.told him all he needed to know, about how the woman died.

At night that day, Dada did not sleep, he was thinking about how to stop being a poison, he hoped he would return home, some day, back to his throne, he was not scared of anybody except the witch who was at that time dead, she was no more a threat, but she left for he did not want to hurt the same people he had taken up such a power, he knew they may never understand what a leader like him had to put on the line before he can single handedly conquered the war, and since the war was over, he planned to let go of the power and it was the reason he had came.

Asama was a warrior and he had always wanted to be a king, though it was just a dream and he had thought it was never going to be possible, he was a captain in the kingdom military, and was loved by his country people, he became a famous army after he single handedly rescued more than hundred prisoners of war, the mission that many group of soldiers had failed, and only him was able to rescued them all, in just a day, he was nicknamed, the Lucky one.

After the disappearance of Dada, he began to planned on how to make his hopeless dream come true, the throne was empty and he had been meeting so many notable people of the kingdom for help, and they seems to really consider his plans, even his superiors supported his dream and were ready to help him reach it, but there was one more problem, and it was a constitution that had lasted since the Beginning of the new world, until a king was buried another king can never be allowed to mount his throne, and as they all knew, that Dada only left the palace, there was no prove of his death, and if he did die, his corpse must be buried first, so anyone who wanted the throne, must discover where the dead body was and bring it to the palace for the burial right, and since no one had been able to bring his corpse for burial, the throne was going to stay empty forever, the zealous Asama was restlessly looking for a way out, first he must look for him dead or alive, and once he was able to know where the king was, then he shall know what happen next, he tried and there was nothing seemed showing his any hint.

There was a sorcerer with a big eye, he sees everything, but the only thing was that, he would not speak with anybody about his revelation, except he who sit on the throne, he knew he must visit the big eye sorcerer, but he also knew his trouble going there was going to be useless, for the man would never talk to him, for he was not the king.

He started thinking about how to go about it, and then he came up with a plan, he must act catering, not for the king who left the throne, but for the citizens of the kingdom, if he can convince them into killing the king, in other to be able to protect the kingdom, the next move shall be to locate his whereabout and end his life. All he needed to do.was to come up with an idea, as a great warrior any of his security details would always be respected by the kingdom law makers, and he approached the Senate house, where he did his analysis about the danger in keeping a man that had became a poison alive, after a well organized speech of his, he finally convinced them all, and locating where the king was became the problem that must be solved.

His intention was to be allowed to speak with the kingdom priest, and finally after a long strategic approaches he was able to get the whole house of Senate convinced, they changed the decree for that single reason, his mother who was said to be a demi goddess had assured him long time ago that he would be a king, and when he went to informed the old woman of his chances, she was not surprise, she kept taking her pap and bean cake, it was always her favorite meal, especially in the morning, when the news of a lost king was broke to her, she kept her head down, thinking that it was a surprising thing that his one and only son, did not know her worth, if not he was not suppose to be surprise that the king abandoned his throne, though she was not sure about what will prompt the exit, but she sure knew somehow, some way, the king was going to abandoned his throne, opening an opportunity for his one and only son, to become a king, she had been hypnotizing the army generals, so.it was surprisingly easy that the generals supported a lower in rank officer to become a Paramount king over them, knowing fully well that if he becomes a king, they that were supposed to be his superiors would in no doubt become their commander, for it was sure that any one who sit on the throne was considered the the number one citizen, he sat calm, different to how he came in, he was excited and restless when he came in, and even when he broke the news, the old woman was not still looking different from when he first came into the house, he sat close to her as he kept his eyes on the busy eating old woman, and when she was done eating, she looked up to him,like she was just realizing that someone was around, she asked for a.duster, one she was going to use to clean her hands off the palm oil stain from the hot bean cake she just finished eating, Asama ran indoor like a little child, though he was over three decade in year, yet he always acted like a small child whenever he was with the old woman, the behavior began a long years ago, when he realized she was more than just a mother.

It was on a sunny day at war front, he was lower in rank and his commander had took the squad to the war with Apeni, they had been fighting for a year, and he was at the front busy killing the enemies, he was busy fighting, and he never had the retreating trumpet, he was carried away in the spirit of combat, and he was left alone within the heart of the war, he kept killing like a demon, and he had been killing until when the whole armies surrounded him, and the pressure was obviously to much on him, he was getting tired, and normally someone would have replaced him and gave him chance to rest, but he did not see anyone around, he had thought surely every comrades were busy like him, but then the strength of a man would fail somehow, he fell and then he realized, no one with his uniform was around, they have all left, he recalled he had the retreating trumpet, and he wondered how he had had the trumpet and still continued fighting, the night became darker than previous, he was still fighting and the armies were all over him, they kept coming at his like flood ready to.wash him away, after a while, the helmet became heavy and his sword became slippery, his eyes were deal, and all hope of ever swing his wife and children became hopeless, he remembered his old woman, and the sweetness and calmness of his beautiful wife breath at nights, he shut his eyes expecting that one of the uncountable armies would clearly cut off his head, after a long time of staying under the shade of darkness he had by shutting his two eyes, he managed to open it, and his old mother was sitting by, drinking pap and eating bean cake, and all over the floors were thousands of armies dead bodies, a sword was.in his mother's lap, he knew instantly and believed that truly her mother was a demigod, and she looked at him, and that was the first day she asked him for a duster, he became scared of her or to respectful, they mounted on horses and returned to the military camp, the armies saw a man approaching on the enemies horse, they thought the war had came to the camp, but they saw on of their own man jumped down from the horse, he was looking good, they were first surprised that he made it back, but the greatest surprise was when they realized he killed more than four thousand armies, and he did it alone, though the demigod was beside him, but nobody saw her, only Asama saw her sitting on another horse.

He war came to an end that day, and so were several other battles after, they always saw him as hero, and threat to.any kingdom that had it in mind to attack the kingdom, but a wizard reigned later and even her mother warned him not to ever stand against the wizard, he was his father and the only husband to her mother, a man with overzealousness life, he was second in command to a mighty kingdom, and had many wife's, Asama mother's pride made her to stay far away from him, and when the war began against the kingdom, and she realized he was in support with the evil king, she warned his son never to be involved or he may die like an ant, and his lack of involvement had made the siege lasted.

He returned with the rag and she cleaned her hands, she then said to Asama, " I did changed all their minds and that of the priest, go to him, and he shall tell you what you shall do, but let me warn you, that gods had decided to hide what happened next from me for no reason.

He left and in companies of many elders he approached the priest and as prophesied by his mother, the demi goddess, he was attended to and she told him that looking for the kind would be his worst mistake, that the king had already chosen a new life, and he won't be coming back anymore, he was free to.go ahead with his ambition of sitting on the great throne of the kingdom, the elder we're there and thanked him out and instantly began the coronation programs, they installed the captain as a king and he finally fulfilled his dream, her mother was moved to the palace and so were his wife's and children, there was no battle and he had no problem and so was the kingdom at large, but once in a while, when he sleeps he always woke up from a nightmare, and it was always about the king returning to the palace with a big sword with a funny look, some time his head would be cut off or Tue big sword running through him, sometimes the king would engaged him in a fight and he always founded his back on the ground and the king standing, he became worried and was sure tyT one day sooner or later his nightmares would come true, he decide to out his nightmares behind him by going to the empty land where he reside, he planned briefly to attack Dada and I'll him and anyone who shall stand with him.

Dada was in a farm, somewhere not too far from home, he had planted many seeds and they were almost mature for harvestation, he Wilder the farm and sat around to eat the roasted yam, and drank palm wine, he had sounds around and was surprised, he had not heard any sound like that for a while, and something told him it was storm, one that always came around to pay him visit, he was a bit.angry that storm had came again and had came putting things i n disorder, they had many arguments in the past, and it was always about the manner in which storm did comes over, and he had given up as it was obvious that the creation was created that way, he expected him to visit him as he knew he knew at that time he should be in his farm drinking palm wine, he waited and the guest did not come to him, he packed his stuffs and headed back home, he was surprise to see that nothing happened to his well arranged home, but the boy who was his only friend and companion was dead, his trout had been slighted, and his eyes was wide opened as he died, he must have been killed by assassin, and he could not think it through who would have carried out the crime, he was sure the attack was meant for his life and the boy had died for him, he made up his mind to investigate the boy's death, but he was not sure where to face in his bitterness and grief, but he sworn to avenge the boy's death.

From many discussion with the boy, he came to understood who his parents were, and decided to pay them visit and tell them the boy was dead, and he to also.tell them how he met the boy, he mounted his horse and the boy's body was in front of him as he traveled back to his kingdom, but he was surprised when he waited by a bar, the owner of the bar was almost close, and few were customers around, she did not know who he was, and the full heart made him look more strange, he ordered for a calabash of palm wine and as he was busy drinking, he over head some men talking about the killing and he listened and had who sent assassin to his house, he became angry and bittered, how could the kingdom agreed to make someone a king behind him, he was always looking for solution to his poisonous things, and it was for the hood of the kingdom tut he became a poison, he left the bar to the deserted land where he came from, he buried the boy with tears in his eyes, and he was heart broken, how bad was people of the kingdom he kept thinking, he remembered the priest and was surprised more that he allowed the coronation, she he knew he was still alive.

UNLEASH THE DRAGON

After the long travel.to his kingdom and the digging of grave where he had the boy buried, he was tired and fell.asleep on the bear floor, he woke up and there was uncountable snakes around him, he tried to speak, but the snakez started hitting him, and eachnof the bites remixed him of many pains he suffered for the kingdom, and how his father died of poison intake, he was not concerned about the venomous snakes, he knew the night of everything was that he would die, but he did not die, he stood up and became someone else, he became wicked and inhuman, he decided to save war against the kingdom, and his intention was to kill everyone in it, he came into the kingdom with uncountable snakes and they killed many people that day, the rest evacuated the kingdom and left it empty, Asama also.died and so.was his demi goddess mother, he sat on the throne and a girl came out of the palace, she looked so beautiful and innocent, he could not hurt her, she came to him and sat right beside him, they kept silent and without any question, they had lived together and she always referee to him as daddy, there was never a question, she was a chameleon and it was through her that the land became the villa called chameleon villa, she helped him conquered many war that came to the kingdom, and when it was flare to the kingdoms that attacking the valley was a suicide, they stopped coming, Iron side was part of thousands of attack that came to the valley, and it was the war that ended the beautiful girls life, though everybody that came died except Ironbath who narrowly escaped death, but suffered a great burn, he was Happy that he finally saw him died, the beautiful settlement had been attacked, and many died, he knew they died because of him, and before the night was over, he killed himself by hanging on a tree, the girl was not founded and so was Cord, the king after seeing how much was the people that died, he made a decree that no magic or spell should be practice, and anytime any one was seen practicing the act, they were instantly put to death, even the priest was also crucified alongside many sorcerers and magicians, the world looked forward to the man called.
