Mila snorted inwardly and tightened her jaw tightly when Ezra— for the umpteenth time, repeated his words firmly and full of threats in front of her wide campus grounds.

“There's no way to escape. You understand? When you try to escape, the video will spread throughout the campus. All the careers you have dreamed of will be gone in an instant.”

"I know. You don't have to repeat it in front of me until I'm fed up.”

“That is indeed my goal. Make my message sink perfectly into your brain and you will always remember."

"I remember. In fact it's so clear in my brain and it keeps echoing in there like a broken record.”

Ezra didn't respond to that and instead discussed other things.

"Don't even think about asking your lover for help."

"He's not my lover anymore." Mila said bitterly. " I will end our relationship today."

"Good. It is better for you not to have anything to do with anyone until this revenge plan is over.”

"That's your business and not mine. You dragged me into your damn revenge
