SIXTY SIX

This time the message was very specific. Ezra lifted the paper, then closed the box quickly because he couldn't stand the stench. He then looked for clear plastic in the kitchen to wrap the terror paper. They may need it later to discover the identity of the terrorizer.

"You okay?"

Ezra appeared in the bathroom doorway three minutes later. Mila crouched weakly in front of the toilet. She still looks nauseous and is about to vomit her stomach juices again. But she deliberately stuffed her mouth with her palm so she would not vomit again.

“I've thrown it away. When you're done, I'll walk you to your room."

"Who sent a dead cat like that?" asked Mila hoarsely.

Ezra crouched beside her and shook his head. He was quite concerned to see Mila's condition which was very pathetic. Even Mila was pregnant, but that person terrorized her very viciously.

“I will find him and finish him off. Don’t worry. You're safe with me."
