A police chief who met him and greeted him when this afternoon he set foot into the central police station in Chicago. Hunter is not surprised that a few bills can make things run smoother. Yesterday after he got the cigarette butt from Viktor, he immediately called the Chicago police and made it known that he wanted his parents' death case investigated more thoroughly, and he was happy to pay whatever the investigation fee would cost him personally. A telephone answerer who was a low ranking policeman promised him he would tell his chief about it. Then this morning Hunter got a call from the Chicago police that the chief wanted to meet with him to talk about the findings Hunter mentioned on the phone yesterday.

"Please, have a sit."

“Thank you, Mr. Hedenburgh. Am I bothering you?"

"No. Of course not. Every day the police get various kinds of cases and problems. At any time, we actually always have work to finish. And your coming here is related to the shooting that happened to you
