HUNTER POV

I slumped on the bed once Maxi left that woman was only brewing trouble in my life. Yet again I keep on falling for her cheap tricks and tactics.

I opened a black velvet box staring at it proudly.

Taking out the anklet that I had bought for Adrianna it gleamed in the dim light.

I know her birthday was a few months away, but when I saw this I immediately thought of Adrianna.
