CHAPTER THIRTY THREE

Forty five minutes later her performance ended and she bowed and left the stage in a hurry. I was still in shock and I blinked several times to make sure that I wasn't dreaming and this was all real.

Andrew excused himself and quickly followed Adria backstage am sure he must have gone to try and win her over.

Just then Maxi returned and took her seat beside me and I had even forgotten about her damn.

She eyed me cautiously like she was suspecting something.

"You look like you've seen a ghost, Sébastien , what the hell happened? She asked curiously and I exhaled in and out deeply not wanting to meet her taunting gaze.

" It's nothing Maxi I just don't feel well "I lied and she nodded quietly and sipped her untouched champagne glass. I knew that if she found out that Adrianna was here at this party she'd lose it and cause a very big scene in front of everyone.

" If you don't feel then let's go back to your mansion I'll run you a warm bath and if you want I'll join you..." she whispers
