CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

ADRIANNA POV

Oh my God! I couldn't believe what was happening. Russ and I were walking hand in hand. We glanced at one another and smiled timidly.

I just love this feeling. I felt butterflies in the pit of my stomach. I knew I liked Russ, but I never thought I would catch feelings this fast.

His mere presence instantly made me forget about Hunter and the useless agreement we had this morning.

He is slowly claiming my heart but I don't know if Hunter's love will over shadow these new feelings that are starting to develop for Russ.

And I think it's time I paid attention to someone who actually values me unlike Hunter.

I want to appreciate Russ because he has been more than a good friend and he has helped me to fit in and get on my feet. Without him I would have been a big mess.

But i'm glad he's here with me.

"Russ" I call out softly and he faces me and smiles.

"Yes" he answers quietly but I struggle to find the right words.
