I grabbed a towel, wrapped it around my waist with still fingers before raising my gaze to glare at the door. I took slow steps towards it. Once I got close enough, I stretched my hand and gripped its knob before twisting it hoping it wouldn't make a creak like the door of Andrea's room.

The creak it made was loud enough to notify her of my presence. Unlike the last time, I didn't feel an urge to kick it.

I pushed the door open with just the towel around my waist. Her eyes met mine. “There you are.”

She spoke softly.

On every other day, the sound of her voice would spike up my spirit but it didn't. Instead, it irked me.

“Leave!”

Her eyes widened almost immediately. “What is it, King Darius?”

"Did I do anything wrong? I also have questions."

"I said." I paused to gather my breath. "Leave!"
