Chapter Seventeen
Arianna walked in with a tray containing two cups of coffee. She gently placed it on the table and climbed the bed. She touched Gavin’s forehead which woke him up. Gavin slightly opened his eyes and sighed.
‘’What now Arianna?
‘’Good morning. I brought you some coffee’’
‘’Say what now?
‘’Yes. May I bring it to you?
‘’You brought a cup of coffee for me? Tell me, what do you need?
‘’Need? Nothing. Besides, can’t I do this with no intention attached to it? I mean, you’re my husband is it’s my duty as your wife to take care of you. You came home yesterday, pretty tired, maybe because of the event you attended, I decided to get you a cup of coffee. Who knows…maybe you worked the event’’
