Chapter 16

I had woken up to a strange yet familiar bedroom, I was still in a sleep haze but I grudgingly stood up from the bed, my head was banging as I struggled to make my way out of the room. I could hear noises coming from somewhere so I quietly followed the sound.

I was eventually led to the kitchen by the noise and to my surprise there was a man standing there with his back to me, my head was so heavy and I couldn't see clearly which made telling who the man was hard, but instead of feeling any bit of fear I didn't.

The man eventually turned, he must have felt my presence, I was shocked to see who it was.

"What am I doing here?" I asked, I don't remember anything that might have led me to sleep over his place, there was a gap missing from my memory.

"You don't remember last night?" he asked me and I could see the surprise in his eyes, and there was also something else I couldn't point to.

"What happened last night?" I asked him trying to remember what must have happened, seeing my confus
