The window is broken. 

Pieces of glass are shattered everywhere on the floor.

Broken bottles of whiskey are scattered everywhere and the cushions are torn apart with the table lying upside down on the ground. 

The house is a complete mess. 

Seven had just come from a meeting late when he saw the door was wide open. He found that a bit odd since he knew I was away for the funeral. On entering, his eyes almost popped out of his pockets. 

Seven and Ren are standing behind me, shook by the utter mess of the whole house.

"You should call the police," Seven suggests. 

"The police?" Ren opposes. "Why call the police? This is clearly a case of burglary." 

"Exactly the reason you should call the police," Seven insists. 

"The police won't help with anything... Infact, calling them is just a waste of time honestly..." 

That's Ren.
