Mr. Gray and I walked into the hall which had so many attendants. I could tell that there were all kinds of wealthy people. Some faces I knew from the fashion world while others I just kept greeting back.

Mr. Gray and I sat in the front row while Daniel and Evelyn were three rows behind us. The camera was so focused on us that I could see how uncomfortable Daniel was.

“This is wonderful Ms. Brown. I hope you do this for our annual gala," Mr. Gray said.

“I'd be honored to Sir," I responded when he looked at me and smiled.

The meeting began and everyone was so focused. I kept my eyes on the stage, and when it was Daniel's turn, I just didn't have the time to listen to his disgusting voice.

If the camera hadn't been focused on Mr. Gray and me, I would have been scrolling on my phone.

Daniel finished what he had to say and the way he was stuttering up there made me wonder how terrible his PA has gotten.
