CHAPTER 30

“What’s adult stuff?” A surprised Lloyd asked, seeing how amused Nancy was by the term.

“I’ll tell you later,” Nancy replied, waving Lloyd off.

“Boys, you shouldn’t run like that,” Emily said as she appeared, catching her breath.

“Aunty Emily cannot run,” Lex said as he giggled with Leo following his lead.

Emily hissed. These boys were little but they seemed to have very fast legs and they didn’t even look as out of breath as she was.

“You’re awake. Thank God,” She said, referring to Lloyd.

“It was Emily who actually called the cops,” Nancy said to Lloyd. He knew when the cops came in. It was a few minutes before he passed out but he didn’t know who it was that informed them.

“Thank you Emily, I owe you,” Lloyd said, clasping his hands in a prayer gesture.

“Well it better be expensive and on four wheels,” Emily said, winking at Lloyd with a cute grin on her lips as she sat on a chair.

“Emily,” Nancy chided her as he rolled her eyes. She thought Emily was always too forward.
