Chapter 9: Revelation

**Old Temple**

In Perth city, this is perhaps the only temple in the province, where live spells are performed on people to use their powers and controlling their actions.

The creepy ambiance of Deadly Moon Temple in Perth, makes it a frightening place to visit and is not for the faint-hearted.

The temple is dedicated to Great One, the founder of Deadly Moon, as he is assumed to be a keeper, who can ward off any incoming chaos.

A visit here will surely scare you out of what is going on, inside. You will find Vampires, who are believed to be extremely harmful, held captive, in a ditch. Some are being tortured by Great One assistant, Peter.

There are certain rules beginners need to follow when they join here. They cannot touch anyone and have to offer one of their loved ones. It is a place for strong minds!

Great One and Peter were in the Temple, discussing their next move on how to find the Tyrant Hybrid when Great One suddenly saw a vision as he looked up.

"The sign has appeared on him, and his power has woken!" His voice echoed throughout the Temple.

"What! How do we locate him Great One?" Peter sounds terrified.

"We need to conduct another search all through the city. Assemble our men at once!" Great One voice deepened.

"Alright!" Peter stood up and leaves with a worried expression...

Susan only glanced at Jaden who was at the door, as she walks out of the room, and heads out.

"Jaden, it's not what you think. I was only trying to help you!" Williams got up and moved closer to him.

"No, dad! You also want me out of this house, just like mom! You are not different from her!" Jaden replied angrily.

"Listen to me Jaden!"

For the first time, Williams yelled at him with much anger. Jaden that was so furious a moment ago, calmed down, as he looked surprised with what Williams just did.

"All I've been doing all these years is for your good, and you knew. Going to that Academy now would be of much help to you." Williams was still mad at him.

"But dad, I don't want to go." His voice was calmer this time around.

"There's something you don't understand Jaden. You just have to go to the Academy!" Williams persuades him.

"Then make me understand dad!"

"It's kinda complicated for now. But with time, you will come to understand everything! Listen to me, and go to Edinburgh." Williams pleaded.

"What is that thing that I must know?" Jaden seems confused.

"It has to do with your birth... Trust me, you will find all answers to your questions at Academy. Just go!"

"Since that's your wish, I will respect it..." Jaden had no option than to agree to his request. "I have to go prepare my stuff, talk to you later!" Jaden left.

'He needs to find himself at the Academy!' Williams said inwardly and follows him...

Instead of going to the company, Susan went to a coffee shop, very far from their neighborhood. She went to see someone, who kept on giving her updates all this while that she has been at home.

When she got to the coffee shop and entered, she saw Anthony, sitting in one corner, sipping a coffee. Anthony was putting on a black, long sleeve shirt, and dark blue jeans whilst his long hair was combed, backward. He also had a black shade on.

Susan walked over to his side and sat across from him. "Hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long?" She asked as she sits.

"No ma'am... I just got here not quite long!" He replied.

"How far have you gone with the job I asked you to do?"

"It's going perfectly well, ma'am. In no time, you would be able to buy half of the shares."

"Good! I need us to act fast Anthony because we have limited time." Susan said with all seriousness.

"Alright, I understand... You'd be glad if you find out how long we've gone with the job." Anthony sounds confident.

"That's cool then!"

Susan opened her bag and brought out a small brown envelope. She hands it over to him. "Here, there's enough cash to help for the next few days."

"Thanks, ma'am..." Anthony collected the money from her, and dip it inside his jean pocket.

"I have to leave now. If you ever need something else, just text me, and don't call, for now, okay?" Susan got up.

"Understood ma'am!"

Susan picked up her bag from the table and heads home...

"Why would you tell me you can't trace those critics!!" Austin angrily throws some documents to the face of the guy, standing before him.

"Sir, I've been trying so hard to get to the root of those dropping negative comments on the company's website, but all to no avail... It seems they are experts!" The guy explained calmly.

"They are experts? And what are you?" Austin glared at him.

"Sir, it's not what you----"

"Enough with your excuses Ace!" Austin yelled at him. "I want a better result, not excuses all the time!"

"Alright Sir, I will work on that."

Ace bent on his both knees and picked all the documents Austin threw away. After he has done picking them up, Ace stood up and walks out of Austin's office.

"What dah hell is happening to me? Who is after the company?"

As Ace steps out, Austin muttered to himself with a long face... Austin leaned back on the chair in his office, as he suddenly recalls some things.

**Flashback**

"They are coming for us Austin, let's run away!"

"Calm down Susan, we need to face our problems! I'm not going anywhere..." Young Austin who sat on the bed refused to get up.

"You know how my families are, they would always hunt us down. Please, let's go!" Young Susan pleaded with him earnestly.

The major problem Austin had when he was younger, was his anger issue. Whenever he is angry, he doesn't know how to control it. Another thing is his, stubbornness.

"You know I can handle all of them Susan, so let your mind be at rest. We are going nowhere!" He replied.

Susan knew no matter what she continues to say, Austin would never listen. She trusts his words, but at the same time, she knew how cruel her family could be.

"Susan!!!!" A husky voice suddenly called out her name, from outside the house.

"That's my uncle, what should I do now?" Susan holds Austin's shirt so tight, with fright.

"I gat this, don't worry..." Austin assures her and stepped out...

"Austin! Austin!! Austin!!!" Austin's friend who just got into his office, calls out his name severally when he saw how Austin was lost in his thoughts.

At the third time that his friend called out his name, Austin finally returns to his normal self. He was surprised to see Carlos, right before him.

Carlos and Austin have been friends since they were young. They both attended the same high school, college, and are now business partners. They've seen each other as blood brothers, right from their youth.

Carlos knew everything that happened in the past between Austin and Susan, and even helped them when they left home then. He was so disappointed when they didn't end up together... But there's nothing he could do about it also.

"When did you get here?" Austin asked as he adjusts where he is seated.

"I've been here for some minutes. What are you thinking about?" Carlos sounds worried.

"Nothing!"

"Don't tell me it's nothing... I know you are thinking about Susan again!" Carlos creased his brows.

"I can't get her out of my thoughts lately, Carlos! I just wished I can turn the hands of time to that moment we were still together." Austin said, with a sad expression.

"I understand how you feel... But you just have to forget about her. You are married with a son, so you don't need her anymore." Carlos advises him.

"I know, but I just can't!"

"You have to try Austin. Think about James, he's now a grown boy, how would you want him to react if he knows about this."

"Don't worry, I will try... Why are you here?" Austin asked.

"Oh, that reminds me... Have you heard what's going on in Perth city recently?" Carlos suddenly remembers why he came.

"What's going on there?" Austin asked nonchalantly.

Carlos made sure to scan all the surroundings of the office very well before he returns to his seat. "I heard the Deadly Moon is searching for a Hybrid, with a sign of Turtle snake on his body!" He whispers.

"Hybrid?" Austin sounds surprised.

"Keep your voice down!" Carlos quickly reminds him. "Yes, that's what I heard..."

"But, why are they searching for him?" Austin asked as he seems confused.

"I guess it has to do with an old prophecy!" Carlos said with uncertainty.

"What old prophecy?" Austin was still not clear.

"I don't know either, one of my informants at the city told me yesterday. He hasn't gotten the full details yet."

Austin stared at Carlos very closely, as he sighed deeply. He couldn't seem to understand why the Deadly Moon would be looking for a Hybrid.

"Well, I think they must have their reason why they are looking for the boy."

"I guess so too!" Carlos agrees with him.

Austin decided not to think about it too much, since he has a lot to worry about, right now. The company issue is still there, coupled with what he heard about James at the Academy. He has a lot to sort out at the moment than to think about a Hybrid.

"How have you been sorting out the company's fallen stocks?" Carlos asked with a worried tone.

"I don't even want to talk about it! Ace hasn't been doing anything to it. He just kept on giving me different excuses every damn day!" Austin speaks harshly.

"Calm down... Why don't you hire another expert since Ace is not capable anymore?" Carlos suggested.

"I think that's what I will do... I'm tired of his incompetence!"

"Just be calm with everything, and I know all your worries will soon be over," Carlos assured him.

"Thanks, buddy!"

"I still have to do some things at work, I need to leave now."

Carlos said and stood up, followed by Austin. They both gave each other a side hug, and Carlos left...
