VANCE'S POV

WHILE in the last line of what Wena was saying I stepped closer to Clodeth but Quenie preceded me to approach there.

Quenie confronted Clodeth and gave her a loud slap.

We were all surprised.

Oh no, these women are really robbing me of the scene. Come on girls! It's my time to shine!

“I’m a lesbian,” Queenie said. "Ten percent of our members in the sorority are lesbians. As our leader, is that what you would say? Is that what we hear from you? How can you lead us well if you hate those like us?"
