Chapter 70

Cohen looked out the window of his office and noticed the sky was changing color slowly. In a few minutes, the sun would start to take over the moon slowly. His heart became restless as he was nowhere close. No matter how hard he didn’t want to think about being late to save her, he couldn’t ignore it. Last time, he was late saving her. He didn’t want to be late this time, but he had no clues about finding her.

For the first time, Cohen felt useless. All those years and knowledge couldn’t help him find the one person he needed to find.

The office door was slammed open, and Liam walked in as he breathed heavily. Sweats rolled down his forehead as if he was in a marathon. Cohen looked at him, and his eyes widened. Words weren’t needed between them. Liam didn’t need to tell him a word because his expression said it all.
