Vincent pushed the call button before throwing his suit jacket on. He adjusted his collar as he listened to the ringing. “Vince, what's up?” He heard Dominico answer the phone.“Meeting at my parents place in thirty. Rebecca spun around in front of the mirror for the fifth time. She didn’t like anything that she had tried on and she had to leave in ten minutes if she didn't want to be late. The red floral dress with ruffles on the sleeves and bottom of the skirt was going to have to work. The neckline was a V- cut that showed just enough cleavage to be cute but didn’t show too much that Vincent would think that she was trying to look cute just for him. The morning of the gala Rebecca woke up to someone knocking on her door. “Ugh...” she rolled over. The knocking wouldn’t stop so she finally threw her legs over the side of the bed and stood up. Vincent felt himself stop breathing the moment Rebecca opened the door. She looked amazing. She looked more than amazing he just didn’t know what the word for it was. Rebecca woke up the next morning to an empty bed and was slightly relieved. She was pretty sure that she wasn’t going to be able to fully sneak out without some sort of awkward interaction with Vincent, but at least she didn’t have to have to endure the whole ‘about last night’ conversation in first thing in the morning. Yawning she sat up and stretched. She looked around his bedroom. It looked the same as it did that night before, maybe even better. The view was just as beautiful.
