Eleanor's POV

I woke up suddenly, feeling hazy and dizzy at the same time. I held my head tightly and winced in response to the pain I felt. I laid down on the floor there, and I tried to sit up and rest my back against the wall. I sat against the wall, still holding my head tightly as the pain intensified. I took a deep breath as I rubbed my forehead slowly, wiping my face with my palm. My heart pounded harder as my breath raced faster. My heart felt like it was about to jump out of my chest.

Something was unusual. There was no noise from the pack house. No noise from maids doing their activities and also the palace workers going about too. I suddenly opened my eyes, looking around the room. It felt like my eyes were shrouded with a dark cloud, but they became familiar with the environment after a moment. I looked around in shock to find out I was in a new cell. How did I get here? I asked in my thoughts.
