Elvira spent the whole day inside of the room, she didn’t step outside. In the evening, around four o'clock, she roamed everywhere in the room and saw a little bookshelf beside the drinks cabinet. There were a few books in it. Elvira checked the books to realize that all the books were nothing but fairy tales. She liked reading these kinds of books when she was a kid. A smile appeared on her face after seeing a book about mermaids. Taking the book, she walked away and sat on the floor, leaning her back against the glass wall of the room.

Elvira’s heart was comforted when she looked through the pages of the book. She was confused. Why would a man like him keep girlish fairytales inside his room? There were no books on that shelf other than fairy tales. Elvira looked at the beautiful drawings in the book according to the book content and bit her lower lip. Instead of staring at pictures, she started to read it. Even though she had become an adult, she liked reading those kinds of fairy tales.

While Elvira was reading the book, the door of the room opened as Lain stepped into the room. His eyes fell on her. His gaze remained on her face for a few seconds before moving downwards to the book which was on her lap. Elvira’s heart started to pound against her chest with fear. She didn’t ask permission to take this book. Was he angry? Looking at his face, she tried so hard to understand his expression, but she failed to understand whether he was angry or not. Looking at her for a while, he stepped closer to her.

“Why did you take it?” His tone was cold as the water of a lake in winter. His coldness stunned her. She looked at him with reddened eyes and forced a smile, not wanting to make him angrier. Parting her trembling lips, she spoke.

“I… I’m sorry.. I was.. just bored..” She muttered. Lain chuckled at hearing her and sat on the floor next to her.

“You know, no one had ever touched these books for years. It’s been ten years..” he said while touching the book. He moved his long fingers on the picture of the mermaid and laughed coldly. Then he looked at Elvira. Her body stiffened, feeling his gaze on her. She didn’t lift her head to look at him. Was he going to punish her for touching the book that no one had touched before? She didn’t know…

“Why do you look so scared? Your face is pale,” tucking her hair behind her ear, he said. Elvira said nothing or did nothing. She was just like a little rabbit who was trapped inside a wolf’s den. She didn’t know when he would pound onto her and suck her blood. Caressing her face for some time, Lain caught her chin and turned her to face him.

“The owner of these books was also as gorgeous as you.. She liked the yellow mermaid. Which one is your favorite?” Elvira looked at the book, moving her eyes away from his intimidating emerald orbs. The yellow mermaid? Isn’t she the most beautiful mermaid, of course! Elvira also liked that mermaid, too but she didn’t want to tell him. She just closed the books and gave it to Lain, trying to get up from the floor, but he didn’t let her.

“Umay… I need to tell you something. But please don’t get angry at me” Suddenly he said. Elvira looked at him with wide eyes. He looked somewhat guilty as he spoke. His face was so strange. Getting up from the floor, he pulled her up, placing the book aside. An unknown feeling surged into her mind, and her eyes reddened even before he could speak.

“What?” she asked him.

“Alpha Seamus, your dad.. He had passed away last night due to internal bleeding inside of his body.. I’m sorry. It’s my fault that I hit him so hard. I can hide this fact from you, but I’m not that man.” Elvira’s mouth opened to a silent scream as she heard those words. She felt the crushing sensation in her heart. She felt suffocation and tears jumped out of her eyes. Her father… her father has passed away? No… he’s kidding!

“No… You are lying! This is not a joke! What are you talking about?” She was in a daze as she asked that. Lain lowered his eyes and chewed on his bottom lip without uttering anything. His action made her heart scream from pain. She felt as if she had been hit by an ice-cold water bucket ruthlessly.

“Are you… serious?” She asked. Then he looked at her and nodded. So… her father was dead? She remembered the way Lain kicked her father last night, and she remembered the way her father looked at her with tears.. No! No! Both pain and fury raged inside of her as she raised her hand and slapped him hard across his face.

“BASTARD! YOU DEMON! YOU KILLED HIM!” Lain was utterly shocked hearing her scream. She stared at him and started to hit him. She hit his chest so hard while crying and then pushed him aside before running out of the room. Lain stood there as a frozen statue not knowing how to understand what had just happened. He leisurely moved his hand and touched his burning cheek before turning and looking at the open door of the room.

“Fuck!” he clenched his jaws and ran after Elvira. Elvira didn’t know how to get out of the house since it was her first time there. She ran looking for the main door of the house, but instantly, a strong arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her back. Knowing it was Lain, Elvira struggled so hard. No matter how hard she struggled, she couldn’t manage to get free from him, which made her lower her head and bite his arm harder.

“Urgh…” A painful groan escaped from Lain, but he didn’t loosen his grip around her.

“Calm down!” He said. Hearing Lain’s voice, Alec and two warriors stepped into the house and the woman who brought Elvira her meals also came there. Seeing them, her heart was covered with pain and fury even more.

“Let me go! Let me go, you blood sucking animal! YOU KILLED MY FATHER! YOU KILLED HIM! IT WAS YOU!” she screamed her lungs out while crying. Her mind hurts her dangerously because of so many memories between her and her father. Every little memory made her heart fill with pain and agony.

“Take your filthy hands off me! Don’t touch me!” she yelled. Lain clenched his jaws and dragged her towards the staircase to take her to the room, but Elvira was so reckless and stubborn that she caught a desk without letting him drag her. She looked at him with fury-filled, reddened eyes and kicked his knee harder. Because of her kick, Lain’s grip loosened, and Elvira moved away from him.

“Murderer! You killed an innocent man who tried to protect his own daughter! How could you be so heartless?” Elvira barked at Lain, who was looking at her with his jaws clenched. Danger was encompassing him. The whole tension inside the living room turned dark and cold, but that didn’t scare Elvira anymore.

“A man like you should never be a father! Heartless bastard! You are disgusting!” She shouted at him while everyone inside the living room lowered their heads with horror. one who ever called their alpha like this has never lived more than one minute. They all met a terrible death, and now she’s provoking Lain and crossing his limits!

Lain stared at Elvira, chewing his lips, and in the next second, he took a step closer to her, but she just simply moved away from him with anger-filled and hatred-filled eyes. She shook her head, looking at him while endless tears rolled down her face. She was sobbing and wiping her tears of pain and agony.

“How can you say that I should never be a father? Huh? If I can’t become a father, you will also never become a mother since you are mine! Don’t shout here, princess, just calm down and go to your room. I told you that I don’t want to hurt you” Lain was so fucking patient as he had never been before. He was controlling himself because he had no idea of hurting Elvira.

“Don’t shout? How dare you? How am I supposed to stay calm when my father was KILLED? I love him.. I only had him in this world, but you killed him! How heartless!” she said, looking into his eyes. Lain’s eyebrows twitched, he clenched his jaws, and lowered his head, not knowing what to say to her. He didn’t mean to kill him but because of his anger, he really hit Alpha Seamus so damn hard. He was furious with the fact that Seamus lied to him about Elvira.

He hated it.. He hated it so damn much! Only he knew how hard he tried to find his mate. After looking for her for years, his time was wasted without a result. Therefore, he decided to find a woman for himself. A woman who would be strong enough to bear his children. So, according to that, he found Elvira, but how could he forget and forgive after knowing that his mate was hidden from him? He was not that heartless to take his mate with him and then hurt her. He never hurt people who had no fault in them.

“Every man and woman dies one day. We can’t predict it. If he died yesterday in another way, who would you blame? Would you have anyone to blame if he met a natural death? And, a woman belongs to her mate, not to her father, Umay! Understand the facts and calm down! Your cries will not get him back to you!” Lain said slowly, stepping closer to her, then he grabbed her from her waist and pulled her to him before she could even react.

  • Tame My Blood Alpha   Chapter 43

Elvira was sleeping comfortably, and she was in a deep sleep when she was jolted awake by the loud and dangerous noise of the thunder. Elvira’s body stiffened. She turned her head and looked out of the glass wall of the room to see that the rain was something to fall down like this. The rain was merciless tonight. While her eyes were staring outside the glass, she moved back wanting to reach Lain. She liked sleeping while hugging him when it was raining too heavily. When she moved back, she felt nothing but emptiness. Elvira immediately turned and looked at the bed to see that Lain was nowhere to be seen. “Lain?” Elvira muttered, sitting up on the bed. He was not in the washroom, he was not in the dressing room. Elvira frowned and then thought he must have gone down to drink water. But then her eyes fell on the water glass on the bedside table. The water glass was unfinished and untouched. Not knowing what he was doing, Elvira sighed and got down from the bed. She stepped on the floo

  • Tame My Blood Alpha   Chapter 42

“Alec, I need to think about it. I don’t feel like doing it. I don’t know… I just don’t want to drink her blood. It will make me addicted!” Lain was honest, he didn’t want to drink her blood and get addicted to it. He was treating Elvira as a flower and he was treating her gently and carefully. So, how the hell is he going to pierce his teeth to her shoulders and suck on her blood? No he cannot do it! Shaking his head, he lowered his eyes. He didn’t want to do it and he was so fucking scared to do it thinking she would leave him. He wanted her to be with him till the day he died. He wanted to be loved by her until the last day of his life. “Oh... Alec.. Are you joining us for dinner?” Lain immediately turned and looked at Elvira who just entered the living room. As soon as he looked at her, his eyes fell on her red lips. It was obvious she had eaten something. As Lain looked at her lips, she raised her eyebrows at him and looked at Alec ignoring him completely. Lian turned to Alec t

  • Tame My Blood Alpha   Chapter 41

Elvira ignored Lain completely as she tried to walk away, but Lain hurried his steps towards her. Then he pulled her to him without letting her leave. When she was pulled to Lain, Elvira started to struggle, wanting to break free from him. She didn’t want him to touch her. Trying to push him away, she looked up at him. Even though she tried her best to push him away from her, she couldn’t do it. She felt that she was doing something useless. She finally stopped struggling and stared at his face with tears before looking away. She was so hurt because of his actions. “Let go of me, Lain,” She muttered. Lain shook his head and picked her up, turning to leave. He took her into the room and kicked the door closed. Elvira said nothing; she stared at his face all the time and then bit her lower lip. She was deeply hurt by his actions. She hated it when he ignored her and when he didn’t answer her questions. Placing her on the bed, Lain sat next to her and let out a deep and complicated sigh

  • Tame My Blood Alpha   Chapter 40

“What’s happening with you, Lain?” Elvira asked. Lain followed Elvira’s gaze and looked at his hands that she was looking at. Seeing his arms, his eyes held no emotions. This was not a secret or new thing to him since he knew what was happening with him. Ignoring it completely, he looked at Elvira and smiled. He didn’t want to show any difference to her. Elvira moved her eyes to Lain as he smiled at her. Watching his smiling face, she remained silent. She didn’t even want to smile back at him because she was having a bad feeling about everything. She felt he was hiding something from her. “It’s normal, Umay… As the Blood Alpha, this kind of change happens in my body. Don’t worry.. I know you are worried about me. But don’t be, it’s nothing” Elvira looked into his glowing emerald eyes as she bit her lower lip. Blood Alpha… of course he is the Blood Alpha but how can something like this happen? Elvira wondered looking at him, but since he was telling it was normal, she would believe h

  • Tame My Blood Alpha   Chapter 39

Lain was standing on the balcony of his house while looking at the gloomy sky. He couldn’t believe the way the time passed so instantly without even realizing it. A few more months have passed, and it has been almost a year since he took Elvira here. He was glad that she was good to him and stayed with him without making trouble like before, but every single day he spent, he knew that he was getting closer to his death. The sky was so gloomy, and heavy rain was coming. Looking at the sky for so long while thinking about so many things, he lowered his head and looked at his hands. The veins in his hands were darker than before. He felt his body was slowly getting weak as he was going to spend the last three years of his life. He felt the changes in his body. Even though everyone who knew about his upcoming death thought he was still strong and he was still powerful, Lain knew that he was not as strong as he used to be. Day by day, he was getting weaker. Even though there were so many p

  • Tame My Blood Alpha   Chapter 38

“No, brother Lain. Can we talk alone? I need to tell you about something that happened.” Elvira’s eyes sharpened. What is she going to talk about? Not her, Elvira should be the one to talk about what happened. She still didn’t tell Lain about anything because she didn’t want him to feel stressed. Watching Sasha’s fake emotions-filled face, Elvira scoffed as she finished her orange and took another one from the plate. Then she started to eat it while looking at Sasha. “What do you need to tell him? About the slap you gave me? Look at my cheek! She slapped me early in the morning because I made you not eat what she cooked.” Elvira’s words stunned Lain. Lain’s pupils contracted, and he immediately moved as he turned Elvira and looked at her cheek to see that it was slightly reddened. His heart started to hammer against his chest. Fury took over him as he turned to Sash, who was looking at him with tear-filled eyes. “What the fuck? Sasha? You slapped her?” Gripping her shoulders tightly
