Elvira spent the whole day inside of the room, she didn’t step outside. In the evening, around four o'clock, she roamed everywhere in the room and saw a little bookshelf beside the drinks cabinet. There were a few books in it. Elvira checked the books to realize that all the books were nothing but fairy tales. She liked reading these kinds of books when she was a kid. A smile appeared on her face after seeing a book about mermaids. Taking the book, she walked away and sat on the floor, leaning her back against the glass wall of the room.
Elvira’s heart was comforted when she looked through the pages of the book. She was confused. Why would a man like him keep girlish fairytales inside his room? There were no books on that shelf other than fairy tales. Elvira looked at the beautiful drawings in the book according to the book content and bit her lower lip. Instead of staring at pictures, she started to read it. Even though she had become an adult, she liked reading those kinds of fairy tales.
While Elvira was reading the book, the door of the room opened as Lain stepped into the room. His eyes fell on her. His gaze remained on her face for a few seconds before moving downwards to the book which was on her lap. Elvira’s heart started to pound against her chest with fear. She didn’t ask permission to take this book. Was he angry? Looking at his face, she tried so hard to understand his expression, but she failed to understand whether he was angry or not. Looking at her for a while, he stepped closer to her.
“Why did you take it?” His tone was cold as the water of a lake in winter. His coldness stunned her. She looked at him with reddened eyes and forced a smile, not wanting to make him angrier. Parting her trembling lips, she spoke.
“I… I’m sorry.. I was.. just bored..” She muttered. Lain chuckled at hearing her and sat on the floor next to her.
“You know, no one had ever touched these books for years. It’s been ten years..” he said while touching the book. He moved his long fingers on the picture of the mermaid and laughed coldly. Then he looked at Elvira. Her body stiffened, feeling his gaze on her. She didn’t lift her head to look at him. Was he going to punish her for touching the book that no one had touched before? She didn’t know…
“Why do you look so scared? Your face is pale,” tucking her hair behind her ear, he said. Elvira said nothing or did nothing. She was just like a little rabbit who was trapped inside a wolf’s den. She didn’t know when he would pound onto her and suck her blood. Caressing her face for some time, Lain caught her chin and turned her to face him.
“The owner of these books was also as gorgeous as you.. She liked the yellow mermaid. Which one is your favorite?” Elvira looked at the book, moving her eyes away from his intimidating emerald orbs. The yellow mermaid? Isn’t she the most beautiful mermaid, of course! Elvira also liked that mermaid, too but she didn’t want to tell him. She just closed the books and gave it to Lain, trying to get up from the floor, but he didn’t let her.
“Umay… I need to tell you something. But please don’t get angry at me” Suddenly he said. Elvira looked at him with wide eyes. He looked somewhat guilty as he spoke. His face was so strange. Getting up from the floor, he pulled her up, placing the book aside. An unknown feeling surged into her mind, and her eyes reddened even before he could speak.
“What?” she asked him.
“Alpha Seamus, your dad.. He had passed away last night due to internal bleeding inside of his body.. I’m sorry. It’s my fault that I hit him so hard. I can hide this fact from you, but I’m not that man.” Elvira’s mouth opened to a silent scream as she heard those words. She felt the crushing sensation in her heart. She felt suffocation and tears jumped out of her eyes. Her father… her father has passed away? No… he’s kidding!
“No… You are lying! This is not a joke! What are you talking about?” She was in a daze as she asked that. Lain lowered his eyes and chewed on his bottom lip without uttering anything. His action made her heart scream from pain. She felt as if she had been hit by an ice-cold water bucket ruthlessly.
“Are you… serious?” She asked. Then he looked at her and nodded. So… her father was dead? She remembered the way Lain kicked her father last night, and she remembered the way her father looked at her with tears.. No! No! Both pain and fury raged inside of her as she raised her hand and slapped him hard across his face.
“BASTARD! YOU DEMON! YOU KILLED HIM!” Lain was utterly shocked hearing her scream. She stared at him and started to hit him. She hit his chest so hard while crying and then pushed him aside before running out of the room. Lain stood there as a frozen statue not knowing how to understand what had just happened. He leisurely moved his hand and touched his burning cheek before turning and looking at the open door of the room.
“Fuck!” he clenched his jaws and ran after Elvira. Elvira didn’t know how to get out of the house since it was her first time there. She ran looking for the main door of the house, but instantly, a strong arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her back. Knowing it was Lain, Elvira struggled so hard. No matter how hard she struggled, she couldn’t manage to get free from him, which made her lower her head and bite his arm harder.
“Urgh…” A painful groan escaped from Lain, but he didn’t loosen his grip around her.
“Calm down!” He said. Hearing Lain’s voice, Alec and two warriors stepped into the house and the woman who brought Elvira her meals also came there. Seeing them, her heart was covered with pain and fury even more.
“Let me go! Let me go, you blood sucking animal! YOU KILLED MY FATHER! YOU KILLED HIM! IT WAS YOU!” she screamed her lungs out while crying. Her mind hurts her dangerously because of so many memories between her and her father. Every little memory made her heart fill with pain and agony.
“Take your filthy hands off me! Don’t touch me!” she yelled. Lain clenched his jaws and dragged her towards the staircase to take her to the room, but Elvira was so reckless and stubborn that she caught a desk without letting him drag her. She looked at him with fury-filled, reddened eyes and kicked his knee harder. Because of her kick, Lain’s grip loosened, and Elvira moved away from him.
“Murderer! You killed an innocent man who tried to protect his own daughter! How could you be so heartless?” Elvira barked at Lain, who was looking at her with his jaws clenched. Danger was encompassing him. The whole tension inside the living room turned dark and cold, but that didn’t scare Elvira anymore.
“A man like you should never be a father! Heartless bastard! You are disgusting!” She shouted at him while everyone inside the living room lowered their heads with horror. one who ever called their alpha like this has never lived more than one minute. They all met a terrible death, and now she’s provoking Lain and crossing his limits!
Lain stared at Elvira, chewing his lips, and in the next second, he took a step closer to her, but she just simply moved away from him with anger-filled and hatred-filled eyes. She shook her head, looking at him while endless tears rolled down her face. She was sobbing and wiping her tears of pain and agony.
“How can you say that I should never be a father? Huh? If I can’t become a father, you will also never become a mother since you are mine! Don’t shout here, princess, just calm down and go to your room. I told you that I don’t want to hurt you” Lain was so fucking patient as he had never been before. He was controlling himself because he had no idea of hurting Elvira.
“Don’t shout? How dare you? How am I supposed to stay calm when my father was KILLED? I love him.. I only had him in this world, but you killed him! How heartless!” she said, looking into his eyes. Lain’s eyebrows twitched, he clenched his jaws, and lowered his head, not knowing what to say to her. He didn’t mean to kill him but because of his anger, he really hit Alpha Seamus so damn hard. He was furious with the fact that Seamus lied to him about Elvira.
He hated it.. He hated it so damn much! Only he knew how hard he tried to find his mate. After looking for her for years, his time was wasted without a result. Therefore, he decided to find a woman for himself. A woman who would be strong enough to bear his children. So, according to that, he found Elvira, but how could he forget and forgive after knowing that his mate was hidden from him? He was not that heartless to take his mate with him and then hurt her. He never hurt people who had no fault in them.
“Every man and woman dies one day. We can’t predict it. If he died yesterday in another way, who would you blame? Would you have anyone to blame if he met a natural death? And, a woman belongs to her mate, not to her father, Umay! Understand the facts and calm down! Your cries will not get him back to you!” Lain said slowly, stepping closer to her, then he grabbed her from her waist and pulled her to him before she could even react.

Elvira opened her eyes as she felt the sunlight against her face. Moving her eyes through the room where she was, she found that it was an unfamiliar room to her. Elvira’s eyes widened, and her mind started to recall what happened last night. Her heart started to pound against her chest. Sitting up on the bed immediately, she scanned everything that was inside the room. The room was so clean and beautiful. It had huge glass windows which gave her a perfect view of the rising sun. The room was so big, comfortable, and luxurious. Everything inside the room was made of glass. There was a beautiful glass drinks cabinet which was filled with so many alcohol bottles. The room was like a small luxurious living room. She would have been so happy if this were her own room, but remembering that she was taken away by Lain, her heart crumpled from the pain remembering it. Turning her head, she stared out of the huge glass window until she heard the voice of the door opening in the room. Elvira
Elvira heard her father’s voice, and she started to sob. Looking at Lain, her mind started to recall the way he sucked mens’ blood that day. Her body started to tremble, and she could even hear her horror-filled heartbeat. How? How did this man come into her room? She couldn’t help but ask herself. She roamed her eyes all over Lain’s face and clutched the quilt tightly. He looked wildly handsome. She was honest with herself when she said she had never seen such a handsome man before. But she was too scared to enjoy his handsomeness or observe it. His thin lips pressed together, yet he didn’t leave her face as he remained looking at her calmly. Then suddenly he spoke!“He tried to hide you from me!” Abandoning that remark, he turned and stormed out of the room. Elvira failed to understand anything or how to believe what had just happened. She was shocked. She clutched her head and started to pull her hair crazily. He found her! He found her. What should she do now? No… she felt she wa
“Alpha.. We don’t have any reason to go there. It’s a normal pack.” Lain was sitting in the front seat of his jeep while looking out of the window. He heard his beta’s voice, but he ignored it completely. He also didn’t want to go to a normal pack like that,t but his wolf was forcing him to go there, so he couldn’t help but wanted to take his reckless wolf by doing what he wanted. It was almost eight at night when he arrived at the Night Moon pack. Jumping down from the jeep after the door was opened by his beta, he looked at the alpha of this pack, who was waiting for him with a small smile on his lips. Lain stared at him for a while and moved his eyes through everyone present as his beta placed his black leather trench coat on his shoulders. Looking ahead, he stepped towards the men and stopped in front of them. “Welcome to the Night Moon pack, Alpha Lain Osiris.” Alpha Seamus lowered his head and said with a voice which held both fear and respect. Lain eyed Alpha Seamus for a wh
“Alpha Lain is coming to our pack tonight.” “Really? Oh my moon goddess, I can’t wait to see him. He’s ridiculously handsome.” “But why is he coming here so suddenly? He had never visited our pack before!” “Who knows? I’ve heard that he’s looking for his mate. Wish I could be his mate…” Lain Osiris! The man who holds the title of Blood Alpha. His name screamed with danger, pain, terror, and death. He was just twenty-six years old, but he had killed thousands of people. He looked handsome and gorgeous, but he’s a beast! A nightmare of every man but yet women are lusting after him. He was.. Just nothing but a blood sucking lycan. He needs others' blood to live, and he was no different than a vampire. Once in every five hundred years, a man was selected to be the Blood Alpha. The man who becomes the Blood Alpha has limited life and limited desires. Everyone called it the curse of the moon goddess. But to Lain, it was not a curse. He was so proud of himself because he became the Bloo
