No Exception, My Love

Her room screamed luxury! The king sized bed, the thick faux silk curtains, the small sofa and the huge dressing mirror. Almost everything in the room had the colour blue. The walls looked like they were newly painted.

"Uhm.. Do you like it? I had the walls repainted today and also changed almost every item in the room.."

Ava was so shocked that she immediately fell into a daze. He did all these for her?

"Ava? Do you like it? I can take you to another room if you don't..", she tiptoed and wrapped her tiny arms around him enveloping him in a hug and he reciprocated.

Still in his arms, she whispered "Thank you, Nate. I love it already..."

"I'm glad you do.. I will leave you to freshen up. My room is the second to the left, you can call me if you need anything.."

Ava nodded and whispered a 'good night' and he responded. He was just about to close the door behind him when Ava remembered what brought her here. "Wait!", She yelled and his grip on the door's knob lo
