Chapter 53- Jasmine & Francisco

Fifty miles away from the cavern, the high cliff overlooking the south of Canvey Island, was perfectly suited to hide a pack of renegade demons. The abandoned wooden cottage was miles from its nearest neighbour, and the thick tangle of trees deterred all but the most determined hikers. But it was not only the isolation that had lured Jasmine and her friends, feral werewolves and witches, to the remote peak. No, it was the echoing magic that lingered in the rich black earth and the power of the churning waters below.

Not that she wouldn’t have preferred an elegant house, complete with acres of marble and priceless works of art. She loves anything that screams of power and riches, and being an ordinary werewolf warrior was nothing but boring. She was not, after all, like her sister, who loves to kiss the council’s ass from time to time. Jasmine was different.
