Chapter 59 : Negotiations

Ella:

“Hey Jen, how’s it going?” I entered her cabin for probably one of my last meetings.

“Hey Ella, I have been good, what about you?” she asked sympathetically knowing it had not been easy ever since she had asked me to drop in my papers.

“To be honest, I have been working hard to stay, hoping Alfatel completes the process so that it can reflect on my targets but it will take two more weeks so sigh!” I reply, feeling dejected.

“Alright, at least it seems to be progressing, any updates on the Holt account?” she enquired.

“Well, they themselves scheduled a follow up meeting with me today at 3 pm so I hope something fruitful comes out of it!” I exclaim optimistically

“I hope so too, even if you get me a signed contract, I can negotiate with the board to let you stay. Also wanted to remind you that next week will be your last if this doesn’t work out. I will always wish the very best for you Ella” she replied warmly.
