Zane had been angry before. He'd gotten angry enough to rip the dick off a predator and beat up Asher's father for being a dickhead. But never in his life had rage bitten down on him the way it did now.

He wanted to strangle Asher, rip that smug grin off his brother's face, and slam the bleeding skin onto the polished table over and over until he finally shut up.

He regretted every single second of it. Why had he told the staff to let Asher in after he'd been thrown out like a stray dog? He should have left him there, sulking on the sidewalk.
