Three

Austin was angrier with him, even though he knew he was getting married to his sister, he could not even respect the fact that he was standing with his soon-to-be brother-in-law. Even if he tolerated his behavior as his friend, his sister was more important to him and he was going to be a good wingman to Mila.

Austin arrived home and went straight to his father's office.

"Sir, you cannot enter, important documents are being signed," Donald told him.

Donald was his father's assistant and had worked with them for as long as he could remember.

 Austin pushed him away.

"I want to see my father! Do not let me disrespect you," Austin yelled.

Donald took out his gun.

"Mr. Carter permitted me to deal with you if you try to sabotage this. The boss is involved and if you mess this up, it will be the end for all of us," He told him.

Austin was not scared of anything, the only people that could control him were his mother and Mila.

He pulled out his gun and pointed it at Donald.

"I do not want to shoot you, Donald. Move out of the way," He yelled.

Martha came in.

"What did I say about using guns in my house?" She shouted at both of them.

Austin put away the gun quickly.

"Mother, I just wanted him to move out of the way but he is being stubborn," Austin hugged her.

"He is older than you, Austin. Moreover, he was given an order and he has to obey it. Your father has spoken to me about Mila's wedding. There is nothing we can do about it unless Vincent says he wants out," She told him.

Austin sighed.

"You know Vincent, he will never do that," He yelled and went to his room.

Vincent came to their house later in the evening.

"How are you, Mrs. Carter? I have not seen you in forever," He kissed her cheek.

"It is good to see you too, Vincent. I see you brought a date with you," Mrs. Martha was disappointed.

Susan came closer, smiling.

"I am Susan, Vincent's girlfriend," She smiled.

Austin wanted to punch his balls out. Why was he being so fucking disrespectful?

"Go call your father, Austin," Martha told Austin as she set the table for dinner.

Austin went to Vincent's side.

"You know you can be respectful at least," He said out loud.

Vincent smiled.

"I am doing it to annoy you. Just a day ago we were best friends and today you are behaving like a p***y just because you were told I am going to marry your sister. Austin, I did not make that decision and even if I wanted to cancel it I can't because I am going to be boss," He said.

Austin left the table angrily.

"Mr. Delmont, my boss wants to talk to you," Donald informed them.

He arranged his shirt and followed him to Steven's study.

Immediately after he got there, Steven punched him.

"I see you still got your grip, old man. Do not do that again or I will get mad," He arranged his shirt.

 Steven punched him again.

"Seriously," Vincent tightened his fist, controlling himself.

Steven went back to his seat.

"Just because you do not agree to the decision does not mean you can disrespect us. Vincent, I am going to be your father-in-law and you cannot bring another woman into this house," He was serious.

Vincent sighed and sat down.

"I have not signed any contract yet, so I have the right to bring anyone as my date without having to be reprimanded by you. You are not my father and you are not responsible for me. Besides, there are no rules that state a man should be faithful to his wife," He chuckled, he was angry.

Steven dropped the papers in front of him.

"Read through it and sign it," He said and gave him a pen.

Vincent got up.

"I will sign it after all the tests are done. I am not interested in your little girl, but I will be sure that the woman I am to marry is not tainted in any way," He said and picked up the contract.

He was about to step out of the door.

"Do not hit me again, I am not the little boy who took you as a father in the past. I will be boss soon and you should start thinking of ways to get into my good book. I do not care if we will be related or not. Before I forget, the test will be done tomorrow, I will go with a doctor," He spoke and left.

Steven remembered the time when Vincent and Austin were little. At that time, Mila was not born yet, Vincent's parents were always busy with work and did not have time to take care of him. He was the one who took up the responsibility of taking care of him. Vincent spent his childhood with them.

It was time for breakfast, Mila was about to go down for food.

"Mila Carters, you have a visitor," the reverend sister in charge of her hall spoke.

Mila wondered who that was, her parents rarely had the chance to visit her, and Austin was in Italy.

She wore her uniform and was about to go out to meet the mysterious visitor.

"Do you usually keep all your visitors waiting?" She heard a voice.

She looked up.

"Vincent!" She panicked and fell to her bed.

Vincent laughed.

"I do not think you should be here. Sister Benedetti!" She called out, but Vincent locked the door.

Vincent laughed.

"You are so funny. No one is allowed to come in here. I am here with the doctor to run some tests," He told her and sat beside her.

Her heart skipped a beat. She had never been this close to him before. In the past, she only watched him from afar.

  "What tests?" She was curious.

Vincent sighed.

"Oh, you have not heard the news yet. We are getting married," He looked at her.

He got up and opened the windows, letting air and light in.

"That is better. I do not know what you are hiding. I need to see your face," He said, and sat on the stool opposite her.

Mila was scared.

"No, this cannot happen. We cannot be married. I have many dreams, Vincent and marriage is not in it. I do not have any feelings for you?" She cried.

He looked at her.

"It is a marriage of convenience, both of us do not have a say in it. I will be outside and the doctor will check you," He replied and gave them privacy.

The doctor came in, he prepped her bed as the working table.

" OK, Miss Carters. You can change into the dress I brought and lie on the table with your legs open," She replied.

He took out a bag that contained all his necessary tools.

Mila was scared, even when she knew that she had not done anything.

"Please open wider," The female doctor spoke.

She shifted her legs and closed her eyes. The doctor lubricated her finger and looked at her first.

"Is there anything you would like me to know, Miss Carter?" The doctor asked her before checking her.

Mila was scared.

"I have not been touched, but I have touched myself. I do not know if it counts," She replied.

The doctor laughed at her naivety.

The doctor wrote it down and let her dress up, then went to call Vincent in.

Mila backed him, scared of what he was going to do to her.

"She is a virgin sir, she has confirmed it by herself," She told him.

Vincent was pleased.

"Is that all?" The doctor asked.

"That will be all, doc." He replied. After the doctor left, Vincent went to Mila.

"Are you happy now?" She spat out.

Vincent tightened his grip on her wrist.

"I do not think you know what would have happened if you happened to be impure," He released her hand.

He looked at Mila, the young girl he knew before who was turning into a beautiful woman.

He remembered watching her whenever he came to London for visits. The only reason he came to their house often was to see her, but he could not be inappropriate, he had to wait for the right time until she had matured.
