The Killer Isn't A Human

The old king and his son Raymond had been on a search for the killer, but they were going in circles. "Father, this isn't taking us anywhere," Raymond complained as he stopped his horse from moving any further.

The old king was tired as well and found some sense in his son's words. "I'm tired as well. This work is for the research team and now that they're dead, as the king I'd have to carry out the responsibility."

"We'll have to appoint a new research team for the job," Raymond suggested confidently. The old king admired his son's courage and wished he was his firstborn instead of Klaus, who didn't see any kingship qualities.

"Yes, I get your point. Let's return to our camp, we'll head for the palace at midnight," the old king said with a sigh of exhaustion. With that, both the king and Raymond rode back to their camp.

The earth spun rapidly, causing time to pass quickly until it was midnight.
