Elizabeth was in the hospital attending to a patient when she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She didn't reach for it until she was done.

“You should be fine in a couple of weeks given you don't do anything that puts pressure on your right leg, or you may have it contaminated which would leave the hospital no choice but to cut it off to save your life.” She told the young man who had broken his leg when he went on a hiking journey.

He nodded and closed his eyes.

Elizabeth didn't waste any more time with him as she walked out of the ward. She took off her gloves and dropped them in the bin, then took out her phone.
