"Please," she cried, her voice breaking. "Please, Armando, don't do this. I'm begging you." Tears streamed down her face as she said that, and she couldn't stop them, it was like a dam broke inside her.

Something in her pleas reached him. He stilled, his breath ragged against her neck. For a long moment, he didn't move, and the only sound in the room was his heavy breathing. He wanted to continue without caring about her pleas, but he couldn't. It felt like there was this invisible wall between them, not letting him advance towards her.

Then, suddenly, he pulled back, releasing her as if she burned him. He stood up, his face twisting with something that looked like guilt.

Leonor scrambled off his lap, pulling her dress down to cover herself. She was shaking, her tears flowing freely now. She couldn't believe she was about to be sexually abused by Armando. She had been expecting it, knowing his personality, but she let her guard down after he had let her spend the night in his room wi
