While Ryker focused on driving, I quickly sent a text to Trish, thanking her for doing this. She didn’t have to help but she knew how much Eros meant to me and helped anyway. By the time the car stopped a few blocks away from Eros’s apartment building, I frowned. I couldn’t believe that Ares had checked himself into the same apartment although he rented a different unit than what Eros had there.
