Draco’s P.O.V

The constant beeping of a monitor right next to my ears made me groan in irritation. And then realization began to set in.

I felt around my environment with my senses, making sure to keep my eyes closed. When I couldn’t immediately determine anything out of place in the room, no sudden movements or noises…I decided to open my eyes…only to come face to face with pale green orbs staring at me with utmost curiosity.

Before I knew who the other person was, my hand was wrapped around their neck, fingers digging into the soft, vulnerable skin with ruthless precision as they gasped in horror and tried to use their hands to get me to release them.

“Who are you?” I asked the girl who looked barely past her teenage years.

Her pale eyes were wide as both her arms wrapped around my wrist, struggling to get it off her throat.

She was pretty, beautiful even, with golden hair that hung around her little heart shaped face in loose curls and eyes that were now w
