ICU again?

Forty-five minutes passed without any hope of getting out of there. Assuming my hands were free, I would have carried my son and ran out of the building.

The boy was still sleeping which made me wonder if all was well with him but the escape took the majority of my thought.

After a few seconds, I began to hear footsteps like some people were coming inside the room.

I was at first scared because I thought they were sent to finish the job that Laura had started but on second thought, I was glad that they were coming to save us. Why? Because Laura wouldn't send people after she has already finished what she started.

Suddenly, the footsteps halted, not moving again. My happiness turned into sadness immediately.

"Kiara! Kiara!!Kiara!!!" I heard the voices, echoing into the entire building.

"I'm here!" I gathered the remaining strength and screamed.

"Where?" One of the voices questioned again

I looked around to check what to use to describe the room entrance but I recalled not getting glare
