"What happened to your nose?" I asked in surprise, looking at Emma’s bleeding nose. She glared at me, wiping the blood with her hand. She sat on the chair, throwing her head backward to control the nose bleeding. I was positive that after a minute or two, she would be fine.

"I know you’re stopping yourself from laughing." She hissed. She was right about it. The next thing I knew, I was laughing loudly. "I swear, I want written apologies from her for breaking my nose twice." I kept laughing, thinking about Moana’s cute little red face.

But the truth was that she was hiding her pain behind her anger and thinking that my laughter had vanished.

I had no idea what happened to me yesterday after drinking the blood. I felt like I was taking too high a dose of drugs. I never remembered sleeping for that long.
