Chapter 32

Ralph POV

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling groggy and disoriented. My head was pounding and my body ached, but I couldn't remember why. I closed my eyes again, trying to shake the fog from my mind. Suddenly, a dream flooded back to me. I was losing Lovette, my love. She was slipping away from me, no matter how hard I tried to hold on. I shouted her name, my heart racing with fear and panic.

But when I opened my eyes again, I realized that it was just a dream. As I lay on the bed, the thought of losing her fills me with a sense of dread and I can't shake it off even though I know it was just a dream.

I slowly opened the door to my room and stepped out into the hallway. My body was still weak from my injury, but I could feel it slowly returning to its normal state. I had been in that room for what felt like an eternity, and I was eager to see what the others were up to.
