Gabriel’s POV

While she went to remove the dress she put on in the fitting room her phone started to ring.

I glanced at the caller ID and saw that it was Ralph. Without a second thought, I answered the call, a smirk playing at the corners of my lips.

"Hello?" I said in a low, silky voice.

Ralph was livid on the other end of the line. "What the hell are you doing answering Lovette's phone?" he yelled. "You're still following her around like a lost puppy!"

I raised an eyebrow, relishing in the opportunity to taunt Ralph. "Oh, don't be so jealous," I said mockingly. "Lovette can have all the friends she wants. Besides, she's much happier with me around."

Ralph let out a frustrated growl. "You don't get it, do you? Lovette doesn't need someone like you hanging around. She's already got enough problems as it is."
