Stop Smiling

*MORGAN POV*

The moment Simon leaves my room, I immediately apply the medicine on my injuries. I am not being hypocritical or doing the opposite from what I originally wanted. I just need to get better. I can't die for now, for the same reason. My family needs me.

Just like he said, the medicine works miraculously. In a few seconds after applying the odd liquid on my wounds with a smell I can't describe, the cuts gradually close one by one, leaving nothing but stains of blood on my skin. I feel an amazing soothing pleasure when the wounds finally heals.

I lay on my bed the moment I'm done. My stomach is growling. I'm hungry, but a lot of things have happened. I no longer have the strength to go down and fetch some food.

I stare on the ceiling, with empty thoughts. I try to think of something, but I don't know where to start.
