Chapter 90

Mom put the small jar in her tiny pouch beside her pocket. She then ran towards me and hugged me so tight. I hugged her back as my eyes heated. Finally, my heart felt so warm and soft. I smiled while stopping my tears to fall as dad joined our tender hugs. I squeezed my eyes closed, thank God, you brought my parents back to me, safe and sound.

I froze when I remembered what happened to everybody else. I looked around after the long hug and my knees trembled again. I bit my lower lip as my gaze went to Fenris. I covered my mouth, holding my tears and gasp back into my tightening chest.

Dad tapped my shoulder.

"Fenris—-"

"What did you do to Percy, mom?" I asked, choosing not to talk about Fenris. It just…. It hurts so much that I didn't wanna even think about it.

"I locked him in the jar." Mom gasped. "He gave me no choice. He wanted not only our strengths and powers but also yours. That's the only way I could think of to stop him."

"But how did you do that? I mean, is he still alive?"
